Eternal Soul, Dark Magical Circle and Magician's Salvation feel like a trinity of back row cards for Dark Magician decks
Add Dark Magician the Dragon Knight and you have a pretty damn need impervious defense set up at least as far as card effects go.
Back in mid 2023 when diabellestar was anounced i saw she was level 7 and immediately thought, "put her in dark magician"

Chaos Angel is somewhat as staple or tech card for DM decks. Baronne can also be looped in DMs.

Probably my most expensive deck to build. Both souls and illusion are darn pricy. I still dont have illusion so that slows the deck down a bit.

I make decks all the time that don't play wanted. This and synchron are the first decks I have used it in for a while.
Could u give alternatives when u add thoes cards since i dont think many ppl would spend that amount a money to play a dark magicians deck for fun :)@@DarkArmedDuelist
It's just part of the diabellestar engine. You would be playing a different profile without it
@alen7174 That would be a completely different profile, I'd honestly just make a budget version before that. I guess you could use a kashtira engine or just use other floodgates like skill drain and Summon limit. 🤷
@@DarkArmedDuelist thing is whe i bought all the magicians souls and illusion of chaos thoes werent really budget cards so it way expensive even last year when u made the deck with the bystials which i played and had a ton of fun u can still make a deck that isnt considered budget just not having thoes 3 specific spell cards that are just way to crazy of a price i mean over 200 dollars for 3 cards come on...
I think adding Savage dragon and jet synchron would be a great addition to this

WANTED isn’t a limited card in the TCG, the OCG version is limited to one copy however.

most of those aren't expensive at all apart from like Chaos Angel and Typhoon from your list as the others are all under $10

@@marcusbollar1960 well, that’s pointless, normally, you use ash blossom’s hand trap effect, you should only normal summon her if you don’t have better move to do, it’s kinda like a last resort thing, spending one extra deck space just for one last resort is not ideal. Also, most of the time your normal summon is gonna be magician’s rod anyway.

If you're one of those cheap budget players, I'm so sorry to tell you... Yeah, this deck ain't it.
Souls and Illusion are reprinted in RC2, and tbh as long as you stock up on hand traps, you can make this competitive. You don't need the Diabellstars to make this super crazy. I would play 2 Apprentice Illusion Magician should you cut those out
