Because I almost never see these on the road, I never thought of it to rival to the R8. Now I can see why when accelerating because this thing will get down and bounce!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I wonder how people would like it if Nissan offered a manual transmission for their GTR, people would love it just like Aston Martins with manual transmission.
@@waic1639 it’d be very cool. But the GTR is honestly too fast for a manual. You really could keep up with the power. Slower cars like this and the R8, the manual is much better
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Compared to the dual clutch, yeah the GTR will be a lot slower but it is the same situation for other fast cars like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Challenger Hellcats. Both of those cars offer a manual as well as an automatic. More options will attract more people to buy. Nothing is too fast for some people. 😎
@@waic1639 Yeah the GT3 is a very precise car. Not that fast. So a manual is great. But since it’s such a track car, the DCT is also great. Hellcats are not that fast since they weigh so much. So a manual is great for fun. But if you’re using it as a drag car auto is the way to go. So different cars can really shine in different ways depending on how it’s getting used
Went to the 2022 Chicago Auto show yesterday- a buddy ( Who is a well to do attorney) got me inside the exotic car display- the style hasn't changed much but it was a beautiful car none the less like the Porsche. Great review great car Brian!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed very tru indeed 😎 the only thing i didn’t like and i’m sure you second it as well is that tiny pop up screen for the reverse camera 📷 but on the newer martin the screen 📺 is stationary instead of a pop up. what do you think of that one overall
I have a 2012 V8VS Roadster, I just can't warm up to the GT model with the paint scheme, and those dreaded GT stickers on the sides. They replaced quite a bit of the leather, too.
The yellow is not as bad as the red. That one just looks like bad lipstick and kills the class of the car. That is why I am going with a normal 4.7 and not the GT.
You said that these cars are reliable, but I've heard a lot of bad things about them in that regard. Can you provide more insight into that? I would still love to own one (if I could afford it) but would never buy a used sports car. The previous owner most likely drove it hard. Great video either way!
Honestly Doug DeMuro owned one years ago. And he had a ton of content around it. I remember when he sold it, he talked about reliability. THe people who have all the issue are the ones who just don't drive them. If you use these regularly like a normal car and just keep up with basic maintenance, they seem pretty solid. Not perfect of course, but nothing too crazy bad like the ones that just sit. Cars like this are built to be driven and used. As long as owners don't abuse them, driving hard isnt bad. Cold engine redlining would be bad, but a proper maintained car can be very solid. My GTR has 45k miles on it, I've owned it for 4 years. I drive it hard when I want to, but keep it maintained. Never had one single problem with it
How is the suspension? I am looking to get one of these but will it be too stiff for daily drives or long distance road trips? If I change the suspension will it make the driving experience worse (in terms of sharpness and safety)?
lol I just got a hair cut last week. I've been so jam packed with filming and my other businesses I havent had time until now ;) Still have 25 video private on UA-cam not live yet with the long hair. It's been a very busy start to the year

Yeah I have barely seen these on the roads. Much lower volume then the R8. Fantastic car for sure and is neck and neck with the R8
I like Aston Martins, especially the ones that come in manual. Beautiful cars.
Yeah it’s such a cool combination. Love the manual!

The car is a masterpiece
For sure! I love all the real metal accents

Oh nice! Sounds like a fun car show to be at. They don’t really change up the Aston Martins too much. Very timeless
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!!
Thanks for checking out the video!
Boy oh Boy! Manual Transmission!! 😍❤️💯
Yeah I was so pumped to drive it! Been wanting to drive one since college 😅
I chuckled a little at the end because I’m normally used to you briefly going over the button controls at the beginning of the video, not at the end
yeah this was a bit different style compared to normal ;)
Buttons are definitely much different then a newer car lol
good review my brother. will keep this on a list of a high class vehicle for a manual to get
It’s definitely a sweet manual Aston Martin to get!

Yeah the graphics won't be for everyone.
There is one Vantage parked outside my college.
Oh cool. Such a good looking car!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I agree.
Very nice vehicle. Personally, I would delete all the yellow on the exterior as well as the GT stripe
Yeah not everyone will like the yellow. That's just how this spec was done. Very cool car for sure!

Holy shit that thing sounds amazing
It does! Very clean V8!
Cool car but idk about that spec, I kind of wish the line along the bottom of the door was yellow too instead of white
Honestly you could always change it. I’m sure wrap shops could make a copy in a different color
Such a beautiful car. I'd be tempted over the m550 would be a though choice only cause of the warranty otherwise I'd go Ashton
Yeah that’d be the only downfall. But from I’ve seen if you actually drive an Aston, and do normal maintenance. They can be pretty reliable

Really miss this era of Aston. They were so iconic, the current stuff is really forgettable.
I agree! Amazing car to drive!
Yup it’s a Amazing car 🖤
Very cool car for sure!
What year is this vantage from
I think I mentioned the year in the first 30 seconds of the vid 😉. 2015 and 16 are the years available
Nice car, 0-60 time?
Around 4.6 seconds or so
@@BrosFOURRSpeed not bad

That intake looks big enough to be a whipple. Hmmm
Oh yeah! I wonder if anyone has done that? Would be nice bump in power still with that N/A feeling
What year is this ?
2015 ;)

I had no issues. I could easily daily this like any typical car. I thought it was a great sweet spot to be comfortable and responsive
👍
Thanks for checking out the video!

5 times - not the fastest car. We get it. sometimes you have to sacrifice speed for class. Or just get a mustang. Eeesh.
ok? Yeah it's a good blend of everything very similar to an Audi R8 V8

I thin it was 2014 or something. I think they only made it a few years or the last yeast. Description might say it
