This song hit me to the very depth of my soul. I've been married to my husband for 16 yrs. He is an over the road truck driver. Its in his blood. I would joke and say the road is his mistress. Missed holidays, birthdays you name it. When he would come home, you could see the age the road left on him. To the point ,I didn't even recognize him. My own husband was a stranger. To say the lease, it's hard on our relationship. Yet, we always made do. Grateful for the time God gave us. That's a special type of person to dedicate your heart and soul for the road. That is until.
I was diagnosed with breast and Lympynod cancer. A hell of a trip your mind plays on you when all you have to do is think. The games your mind plays. While all you see is that white line down the pavement. He would say if anything happens. I'll try to make it home. I'm doing my best. I will be there. Sometimes empty promises. Money has to be made. We have more bills now do to the cancer treatments. This for us. I could hear the hurt in his voice, of feeling as if he let Me, us down. I have to get going. Im late. Got to make up time. Hurry up and wait. Pavement waits for no one. I choose him and would again. But, that love comes at a very heavy price. He tells me this is his last trip. He's done. He misses home. (Me) The Road Ain't no place for the weary kind. Cherish what you have. Don't ever take one moment for granted .Peace & Love. Sorry for the book

STOP WITH TRYING TO ILLICIT SYMPATHY! I have seen your novella on 3 different songs. First, to say the "least" not "lease". Second, you can't spell what type of Cancer you have? This is disgraceful to people who actually have cancer in their "LYMPH Nodes" and don't come on YT with some story. What do you get out of this?

Beautiful and deep song. This world needs more of this kind of music. This country has lost it's soul and lost its truth.

    • @WEK-kh8gd
      @WEK-kh8gd 3 місяці тому +1

Yes sir. This song is absolutely amazing. And yes this country has lost it's soul. You know that's a cold hard fact when after hush money is undeniably paid to keep a major pornstar quiet, people still revere the man. The Evangelical Christians absolutely adore him. And when minions of his go to prison for actual recorded proof of bullying and lobbying to change the results of a presidential election, they still love the man. And when an insurrection riot that this man prevoked,( simultaneously while terrorists that he encouraged were inside our treasured Capital Building), garnered a response of his followers of an almost religious, cult kind of obedience. And from himself words of "I love you. Now it's time to go home." Imagine that. Fucking trespassers have invaded our Capital Building, and our outgoing president says he loves them. This same man who called Black Lives Matter a terrorist organization, tells intruders in the Capital Building that he loves them. Unbelievable. He makes fun of the mentally challenged, women on periods, women he perceives as ugly, gays, and absolutely anyone who disagrees with him.Republicans included. He's on the Epstein sex list. He like to "grab women by the "puss because you can do that if you're a star." Has flipped stances on abortion 22 times. Yes it's been documented. Claimed cheating on social media when Obama beat Romney in 2012. Called foul when he lost 2016 Iowa caucus to Ted Cruz. Hinted he may if needed call foul in 2020. Mind you, he did this before the election even started by a month. And yes, he sure did cry a river. Yet millions of Americans honestly believe the man was cheated. Yes, America has lost it's soul. Along with our intelligence, and our decency. Our moral compass is absolutely shattered. I love this country. I pray for this country. I still believe this country is good. I feel that because the popular vote in the last two presidential elections overall voted for love and tolerance, over bigotry and hate.

    According to Wikipedia…
George Ryan Bingham (born March 31, 1981) is an Americana[3] singer-songwriter currently based in Los Angeles, California.[4] After receiving critical acclaim for his first two studio releases on Lost Highway Records, 2007's Mescalito and 2009's Roadhouse Sun, Bingham went on to collaborate with Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett on the soundtrack for the 2009 acclaimed film Crazy Heart, including notably co-writing and performing the film's award-winning theme song, "The Weary Kind". The title track earned Bingham an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Critics' Choice Award for "Best Song" in 2010,[5] as well as a Grammy Award for "Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media" in 2011.[6] The Americana Music Association also honored Bingham with the organization's top award in 2010 as "Artist of the Year".[7] Bingham was born in Hobbs, New Mexico, grew up in West Texas and went to high school in Houston, Texas, at Westfield High School. Bingham got his first guitar as a 16-year-old when his mother bought him one. At the time, they were living in Laredo, Texas. Although he was fascinated by music, he left his guitar dormant in his closet for around a year, until Bingham's old neighbor, whom he used to drink beer with at his back porch, taught him a classical Mariachi song called "La Malaguena" in segments. Soon, he moved to the Fort Worth area in Texas, and with growing interest in playing music, he started seeking new songs to learn. Bingham started playing gigs in bars that he and his friends used to hang out in and that's how his career as a musician initially began.[13] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Bingham

Intentaré llegar a casa. Estoy haciendo mi mejor. Voy a estar allí. A veces promesas vacías. Paz y Amor. Perdón por el libro

Both. Dig a little deeper into _real_ country music and you'll hear mentions of the "white line" of the highway that mean the actual white line _and_ the one that you snort. And pills. Country music --and I mean -_-real-_- country music, not the shit that comes out of the likes of Blake Shelton-- is the white man's version of the blues. A poor man is a poor man, regardless of color --we all feel the sting of poverty, and we all feel the need to express our discomfort.

One day I woke up from my sleep with this song stuck in my head. I listened to this before but that day I realized what this song actually is. Ryan Bingham is singing my crazy heart… That day this song became a part of my soul… Thanks to all those people who created this song.
Best Wishes from the Crazy Hearts of Bangladesh… ❤❤❤

Quite fitting, I'm on dyalisus n lost all feeling in my legs from drinking n taking pills, I'm 42 with two small children. N may never walk again.....I've lived Bingham since he first came out, it's odd because we're both born in 1981 n his real first name is George and I'm Georgia, all his influences growing up, were the same, thank you for the song.... never fit as well as it does now😢

The Weary Kind (Theme From Crazy Heart)
    Ryan Bingham
    Your heart's on the loose
You rolled them seven's with nothing lose
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
    You called all your shots
Shooting 8 ball at the corner truck stop
Somehow this don't feel like home anymore
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
And this ain't no place to lose your mind
And this ain't no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try
    Your body aches'
Playing your guitar and sweating out the hate
The days and the nights all feel the same
Whiskey has been a thorn in your side
    And it doesn't forget
The highway that calls for your heart inside
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
And this ain't no place to lose your mind
And this ain't no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try
    Your lovers won't kiss
It's too damn far from your fingertips
You are the man that ruined her world
    Your heart's on the loose
You rolled them seven's with nothing lose
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
