When I see Kelly Freaking Clarkson, I need to stop whatever I’m doing and watch it. One of her very best covers to ever date!
The way she performed this cover is breathtaking
100% agree with you. The way she can put herself into songs is insane. She is a true artist. There are some artist who just sing like it’s their job and Kelly sings like it’s her passion. And it comes across in the way she delivers her performances. Keep these coming!

I got to ask Jason, her music director, about this cover once. He told me this cover was 100% her idea! This one is in my 5 favorite Kellyoke covers! I'm so happy to see so many people are seeing these that maybe weren't aware of just how incredibly talented she is or how big her range is! She can sing absolutely anything, from any era or genre! Check out Ring My Bell, Unchained Melody, any Elvis cover or her Billboard Music Awards opening medley 2018 and 2019. She will blow you away. Especially in 2018. Although in 2019 she was hosting while suffering appendicitis and was rushed to surgery immediately following the show. She did amazing while in so much pain! She is a legend in my eyes!
You are 100% correct. Every time she is performing another artist song she honor that artist either adding something to the stage or her wardrobe to represents that artist style. So amazing 👏
Another Kellyoke that completely changes the arrangement of the original song is "Dancing Queen". She turns it into a slow ballad and it's absolutely beautiful. If you want to see how good she's been over the years at the transitions into her higher register you should watch the VH1 Unplugged performance of "I Know You Won't". She knows when to pull it back or to belt to high heavens depending on what's needed for the song. In this performance, she does it all, sometimes even in the same phrase. It's breathtaking.

Yes! You get it! You can’t put KC in a box & that’s one of the things I love about her! I only within the last year started listening to and following Kelly again myself with the dropping of her new album Chemistry. I have been totally impressed and in awe of her since. Yes she should get all the respect and admiration that she deserves! ❤

It would be awesome if you could please react to some of my favorite performances: Stuff Like That performance on American Idol in 2002, her Since U Been Gone VMA performance in 2005, her BIllboard Music Award medley performance in 2018, and her Up To The Mountain performance on Idol Gives Back 2007. There’s so many amazing performances of Kelly to watch. The list is endless. Being a huge fan of her for almost 15 years, it’s been such a rewarding experience. She can sing any genre and her vocal ability is mind blowing and ever-changing.

I watched Seven Nation Army a few days ago, and I have to say, it’s probably my favorite that I’ve watched thus far. I can see why so many people recommended it. I haven’t listened to “pick up your feelings” yet, but I’ll for sure check it out. I appreciate it!
Just a fun fact, the people in the audience from her show, picks the songs for her to sing. She and her musical band director( the piano player) make up the arrangement for the song that very same day.
