This man is a giant. In every solo you can hear the immense amount of hard work and devotion to his craft. Possibly the deepest set of ears currently active. The interview also reveals another side. The man is motivated from within, by the spirit of art. In the very best sense, "the music plays him" rather than the other way around. His playing is intentionally without intent. A Zen mind within a a framework of globally crafted technique, thus prepared to receive the inspiration.
