I got this for myself after watching your reviews. Don't usually get influenced by youtubers but as I like trains I loved this one. So went looking for the best ' how to build and general review'. I've made it up and it was so much fun because it was so easy. Thank you for such a good honest review as it helped me get started. And I finished before the week was out. Ta .

They are so beautiful I have this one, andddd I am a hugeeee Harry Potter fan so I intend to tweak mine to be the hogwarts express at platform 9 and 3/4 with either King cross station or idk I will edit the little sign at the top, the one inside that says welcome to the station and the time travel sign on the front of the train
Got half way through the train and gave up - everything was just breaking whether I had an inferior kit I don’t know May go back to it at a later date 🤬
Do you recall having a piece that wasn't used? I got part G13 left over. Looks kind of like a ruler. Went through the document and don't see it mentioned
I'm just starting the same kit and was wondering if you think the wooden clock could be replaced easily with a watch insert or even a small pocket watch?
I have built orpheus the lonely robot, the steampunk submarine, the davinci Drawmaton, secret garden box , airplane tower , vitascope, romantic carousel , ferris wheel and many others , there are a few videos of them on the page
Any tips on how to get the walls up without wanting to smash it all to bits? I’ve spent 15 minutes having to fix the battery box bit over and over again because when I try to put the walls up, one wall stays and the other makes the battery box piece break up the smaller pieces. I can’t do it!!
@@buildingwiththeboys I’ve tried doing that on both sides, the pegs won’t stay inside the holes. I think the original problem is the pegs won’t actually go in the hole where the light switch is. It’s pretty stable by the battery, but by the light switch it’s very loose and fragile

Yes you could , the train is not attached so you can adjust it how you like

Just super glue the broken parts, should work just fine

It would have to be tiny , on the sunshine town book nook the clock on the wall could definitely be swapped for a real one
This is going to sound weird but I love it as a tunnel without the train in it
Makes sense to me , you can see a lot more detail without the train in it

The wheels are push to fit , they can rotate but not freely

Try lying it on its side

Check any of the other nook videos I have uploaded the wiring is pretty much identical
why not paint the exposed edges of the wood to finish it better?
I like the edges , I like the wood, but you definitely could paint the edges
