The idea is fine but I have 2 concerns. First, we probably don’t have enough assets to get Fox without moving Embiid which can’t happen this season bc of the extension - also consider that if Fox signs an extension he probably also won’t be able to be traded next year so this would not be feasible anytime soon. Even if it was possible, it would probably cost us Paul George getting re-routed somewhere else. Second, even though having a fast and athletic team would be fun, those teams usually don’t win championships. The game slows down in the playoffs so you need depth and versatility, and most championship rosters have a lot of veterans that give you that. Also I don’t know that Fox or Maxey can be a #1 on a championship team because they both feel like either 1B or a number 2 option
So the Sixers have said they're willing to go into the 2nd apron for a player who hasn't signed their extension yet (Fox hasn't), PG & Embiid wouldn't have to be moved and I also said that this secures your future and I'm fine with Embiid leaving, I didn't say Maxey or Fox were #1s but you can definitely build a team starting with then

They should have DRAFTED Fox in the first place instead of trading up for Fultz. I do not see any moves working for this team except trying to build from the draft and hope the players hit.

He's got height but I don't think he is a typical center, more like a scoring PF. Also if they try to get an all star big man that possibly means they decided to entirely get rid of Embiid which is huge
This the last thing they need, why stunt McCain and Maxey for another guard when that’s currently the best role. What they need is a younger 4/5 bigger guy to just get out there and run and rebound maybe catch some lobs when Joel isn’t playing for one reason or another.
I think him and DFox can switch up gotta remember DFox has played with Malik Monk too I definitely think it could work especially it we think Maxey/McCain can work
@ no I would not! I believe all great teams need a foundation and that starts with hitting on draft picks! Maxey, McCain, etc. need some sort of youth to build a legit championship team! Look at the Celtics, warriors run, etc! Gotta hit on picks! I think Maxey & McCain can truly build this thing if you decide to get rid of Embiid

I love D. fox but how does he play with Maxey? I know Maxey CAN play off ball..we’ve seen it with harden I just love the idea of Maxey being THE GUY
