Don't let this guy fool you, he is actually a heart or brain surgeon 😂. Isn't that right Tony!
Rocket surgeon
@@GreyLightning Dahm good surgeon. The precision is amazing
What do you mean "or" i think you mean "AND"
He can connect neuron probably
@@trym2121 with bypass ;-)
99% of all the board repair shops and YT repair "experts" would have told you "it can't be done" or "maybe it can be fixed, but it's not economically viable" (read "I'm not able to do it"). This guy took his time, used his knowledge, his tools and inventively and proved IT CAN be done. Bravo, Tony!
you know, I do tech support for a living, I do hardware repairs for the company I work for so I think I am quite good at soldering. But watching you repair these cards still looks like magic, even to me. I deeply respect your work bro and this makes me want to try harder and eventually reach your level. You earned a sub.
Dude is a hero man
I'm an engineer and this is basically exactly what I was thinking, this stuff is insane and he has my admiration
You smoked that crack! Excellent work!
phrasing
just me and my little pipe never in my life i thought i would meet a GPU repair guy that smokes too. hello stranger!
Cough* Cough* ...
Did someone say crack?😶🌫️
😂😂
My mind was blown thinking it was beyond repair. Great job as always, Tony.
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THAT'S WHY HE'S MVP. THAT'S WHY HE'S THE G.O.A.T. THE GOOOOOATTTT.
I have done board level repair on locomotives where I was told that the traces are too small to repair. Those traces look like 12 gauge wires compared to what your wizardly behind was soldering. Amazing work and reason 1,994,539 that I do not work on GPUs...
if u mess up a wire while soldering, how difficult is it to fix?
@@Chicken-o5eRemove and put right way, try again. Not that harder then putting the wire on.
You are a hero. I hope you have an enjoyable break over the xmas period.
no breaks
@@northwestrepair Full Throttle!
your time lapses have been getting better and better.
I love them.
Never ceases to amaze me the level you go to on these repairs!
He makes brain surgeons look like plumbers.........INCREDIBLE!!!
When I started watching this channel I knew nothing of what I was looking at, a year later I still don't know what I'm looking at but it's cool so here I am.
Amazing repair mate
thanks !
Tony your repairs are awesome !
Con le tue mani lo volevo 😁
@pericarionblog746 yeahhh facevo una montatura a neve
GPU GURU strikes again 😂👍
Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
I cant believe the skill level you have. Always love your vids
Love the time lapse repairs. Always great choices for music.
Thats awesome bro
I'll have to buy a dictionary if I want to continue watching your videos. English is not my first language, and I've run out of adequate adjectives to compliment your work after commenting so many times, each time having to increase compliments level because you keep surpassing human repair capabilities EVERY-SINGLE-GOD-DAMN-TIME! 💪🏻👍🏻 CONGRATS!!!
0:12 I love the RGB Ram tan lines.
Thats what that is?
Damn no RGB ram for me.
I'm still wondering who came up with the glorious idea of putting traces this close to a "load bearing" part.
When pcie standards were created the heaviest cards weighed maybe 300g. Most were in the 150g range.
These cards now weigh 2000g. Clearly a lack of forsight by the pcie creators.
@@LiveType While the standard could be updated to better support those humongous cards, IIRC it doesn't define layout area, and PCBs are designed now, not when PCIe was standardized, so it has nothing to do with what Fred was saying - they could layout the PCB with larger keepout around the hook.
@@michalthekind This, they probably break after warranty ends or is not covered by it to begin with so they have a chance to sell another card
Very interesting watching you perform your magic!
It's amazing that you can repair such kinds of damage, and make it look like a cake walk. :)
I've been soldering since I was 10, but I would take one look at that hot mess and go "nope!".
Thank goodness you're around. :D
I had a very bad day, but after seeing this everything is FINE!
This is a masterpiece art of repair. Forget about microsoldering, this is a nanosoldering job.
no, it is micro, but it's still very impressive
Yes. He can see nano sized things where every other human needs a TEM
It amazes me every time that you can repair this stuff. Thanks for sharing
It's amazing you can do this, I would have thought these cards were trash.
Bro, it is again another amazing repair. Thanks for the video. Greetings from Turkiye…
Jumper wire is the wise choice there, another job well done!
Hey Tony, you have a lot of patience when it comes to welding. You are an excellent professional.💪👏
i try
Is it just me or has the video production level made a huge leap in this video?
Amazing as always and all hail the algorithm!
You should definitely be called Dr. Tony at this point!
The incredible GPU surgeon does it again! well done mate!
I can’t believe you fixed that. Insane.
Insane repair in those traces. Good work!
You sir, are a fricking wizard!
No words.. There's nothing You can't fix! Amazing!
I'm a French guy and I've learned so much about GPUs thanks to you.
I missed you making videos like this. I hope you make more videos like this.
Another Godly repair from the king 💯
every time i watch one of these videos my knees cannot help but bend
Insane to think this could be repaired, amazing work
You are literally a magician with a soldering iron.
Def no coffee before doing that repair. A work of art!
On tonight's episode of Law and Order: GPU, a life is saved from crack.
""Hello internet."
Like.
4:25 - Diagnostics #2
5:28 Exercise on a regular basis.
6:32 Don't worry, it will become more and more difficult as life goes on. :-)
I'm so glad you doing this in front of the broad audience, because that looks like ancient craftsmanship, a sort of a myth. Many people had heard of it, but not much of them actually see it getting done. Excellent job.
Honestly speaking, these are the videos that I like on this channel the most. Some music, good work and skill. Keep up good work!
3:36 :)
the craftsmanship was seen in the reconstruction of the crack. ❤
i dont know if it was intentional but the hot plate numbers flashing with the beat of the music at 2:56 is the most badass thing i have ever seen
Just knowing where the traces need to go is amazing in itself.
Our humble GOAT with another amazing repair. Great work!
Always incredible to watch
Woow, you are the best Toni.Amazing repair.

You the man matey, the best on the internet
"But in this case, I can't DO IT!!" ..Wow. Did NOT expect to see that meme used in that context. 🤣🤣🤣
Let your dreams be dreams, Tony.
Still amazes me every time when you successfully repair a multi-layer board that looks like a lost cause when you start.
Great video! Hope to see more just like this!
Indeed, you are the one!

I love your humor! 😆
