I just had fuel problems on my yj. Got checking and it had blown the line completely off the pump. You always have fuel problems after you get it full.
I know this off subject, but I just bought a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara tj. I noticed a little puddle underneath the transmission. it's a ax15 5 speed manual the fill plug is kind of rounded. I tried a 15/16 wrench, is that the right size? I called around to buy a new fill plug and I'm having no luck to find one.
I was filling my 98XJ at the gas station and a guy at the next pump pointed out my Jeep was leaking. Sure enough, I was about full and my gas tank was dripping fuel from about the same place as Sasha’s XJ in the video. Funny thing is, it never happened again so I didn’t go looking for the cause. This was 5 years ago and my XJ is my daily driver. Go figure…
