An exurb is a community that's located outside of a city and its suburbs, but is still connected to the city through jobs and services.
Nice video. You packed a whole lot of information into a relatively short time. My wife and I recently toured the Lake Lanier area looking for towns we might like to move to. Cumming, Gainesville and Flowery Branch really stood out. Buford was also nice, but not for us. Maybe if we were a young family with K-12 aged kids we would have gravitated to Buford more.
We call it lake linear… and Alpharetta is where I live. Atl traffic starts at exit 8 or 9 on 400 every morning. It is a suburb
They would be classified as like exurbs, they're further out from the core counties suburbs of the metro.
Some may even be classified as rural suburbs. Classification difference has to do with low density, open spaces, whether a significant population is working in area.
Thanks to a lot of urbanist/city planners channels, I'm acquainted with some of these terms.
To also make it more complicated, A lot of Atlanta suburbs could be classified as metro on their own. These would be classified as satellite metros.
North Atlanta Metro has a lot of satellite metros. Whereas South Atlanta Metro is just basically Atlanta, at least for now.
Definetly the exburbs, and yet there isn't a local name for this particular area...thanks for watching.
Ive just finished my salesperson prelisence course and I just need to take the course exam and state exam. But at this time I don't know if it's worth pursuing real estate. I don't know if there are as many buyers and sellers needed to have good amount of competition
Your videos are so informative! Can you do a similar one on the towns a bit east - like Lilburn, Tucker, Lawrenceville etc?
Can you also do a video about the Northwest suburbs of Atlanta?
Great idea!
We are currently living in Gwinnett county. My husband wants to move to Cumming. He really likes the town. Can you please do a video with Gwinnett county? Thank you.
Are you asking for videos on Cumming? We have alot of those and also many videos on Suwanee, Buford, Duluth and Lawrenceville on the channel too :)
Interesting that Roswell was forgotten even though it is right there neighbor of Alpharetta and JC.
Question I had - everything was evaluated based on schools and shops. History, culture and sports not being important for your clients?
Secret town - Grayson, Ga
I've made videos about Grayson before- definitely a great town!
