You might have some pre_existing computer issues. 1) The first thing I suggest is make sure you have your AC plug plugged in securely on both ends. 2) If it's not a laptop, check your computer monitor screen power and video plug. 3) If you have laptop with a removable battery, detach it from your laptop. Wait a minute, re-attach your laptop battery and try turning your laptop back on after plugging it into your ac wall outlet for AC power.

No. The ISO file is not a installable OS file.You can't install an OS with just a ISO file. It must be burned to either a DVD or create a bootable USB flash drive with the OS installation files. This way you will be able to install Windows 8.1 if you need too.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. An ISO file is an image of a DVD or CD. You have to burn the image to a DVD (I know...old technology) or create a bootable USB flash drive with the image created on it.

Microsoft Windows operating software does not allow an upgrade from a Windows 32 bit operating system to a Windows 64 bit operating system. If you want a Windows 64 bit operating system instead of a 32 bit, you would need to wipe out/delete your existing Windows 32 bit system. Manually save all your personal file to a flash drive or external disk. Then do a fresh install from scratch with a Windows 64 bit installation media. DVD or Flash Drive.

You will need to go into your BIOS and change boot order so that the first thing your system boots to is the USB drive.

@@إلياسابنعبدالوهاب my desk top came with windows 8.1 and it is not able to download the latest windows 10 updates. locks up at 80% and i have to go through a hour process to fix this issue and have the previous version of windows 10 re-installed. Since u cannot turn off windows 10 updates i go through this about every 2 weeks. I actually liked windows 10.
how i fixed the above problem...i contacted microsoft support online, talked to an agent (waited less than a minute for one to be available) he did the remote access to my computer and after i contacted support within five minutes windows 8.1 was downloading and now up and running.
so once i burn the disk, i can restore my comp and use the disk to install 8.1 64bit fresh? im running vista 32bit

go to 2.55 in the video. Follow his directions to open sytem page to find what Windows you have. At the bottom of that page is the product key.

go to ur settings then write down the product key, once u did it then do all the installizatiin steps untill u reach the enter product key to continue, then enter the product key, do not click skip or else all of ur files are lost

To make backup media, in case you ever have to re-install Windows 8.1 again because of a crash hard drive or corrupted files due to malware..etc.

I have a surface rt stuck on the password screen because I don't know the password. And when I troubleshoot and try to reset it asking for media installation, what? Anyway I can't do anything. If I buy a program will it work or what can I do
