My thoughts on the cameos: • For me Heather and Lindsay were the best cameos of the season, bar none. Heather made the challenge added a whole ‘nother element to the challenge, and Lindsay actually looked like she was enjoying herself. • I feel like Owen, Gwen, and Duncan were only there by virtue of being popular characters. But I do wonder: if Duncan recognized Mike from juvy, in TDAS, then why didn’t he say anything during his season 4 cameo? •Bridgette’s cameo didn’t sit right with me. I mean she does have every reason in the world to despise Chris, but her character just doesn’t work as someone whose mean and makes snide remarks. • Seeing Ezekiel’s character again just reminded me how much the writers hosed this character over. • And I personally don’t know why they brought in DJ, of all people, for a cameo. I liked DJ very much in season one, but then he turned into a complete and utter crybaby - I was literally rejoicing when he got eliminated.

I do agree that Revenge of the Island and All Stars should have been one long season, instead of two short ones. I do like Revenge of the Island the way it is now, actually, but the idea of all the new contestants with some of the more memorable old ones would have been better than what they did, especially because All Stars missed some of the best characters like Owen or Leshawna, and even Beth (mostly because of her being in the season 2 finale- her arc is completed, so she could have been the first eliminated instead of having an annoying character like Stacy exclusively to fill that role.)

Someone competent being forced to work with Staci if she was toned down a bit, Sam, and Dakota would have improved their characters and wrap them up better if they aren't just outright deleted. Sam would have been so much worse if Seth Rogan hadn't become the movie voice for D.K. otherwise he kind of sucks This show does better with 18-22 characters and a 26 episode format IMO

I just thought Chris found him after the whole "shot out of an active volcano" situation and just put him there on the island.
