Alright, I'm gonna speak facts know: Shawn and Jasmine are PERFECT for each other, mainly because they don't judge each other for how they are. Sure, they did disagree on a few things (like Jasmine's flower shop idea, which is awesome, and Shawn's zombie obsession), but they genuinely care about each other, and are willing to accept and actually like each other for their flaws, weird obsessions and differences. So yeah, I think we all need a love like Shawn and Jasmine's

They were certainly the only good couple from this...odd season....though also a most unusual couple: Jasmine, the 7ft tall Amazonian Australian girl who was the leader of her team, and Shaun, the nut job who is obsessed with the possibility of a zombie apocalypse. But they did have quite a lot in common and respected/learned to love the quirks and weird things from each other. Would be sweet seeing a flower shop/cage fighting business, that why Jasmine was so awesome & somewhat terrifying at the same time.
Also, because it's Shaun, she never has to worry about that shop getting robbed because it'll be the most tightly secured store on the American Continent. And if for whatever reason a zombie apocalypse DOES happen I reckon a flower shop will be a pretty convenient place to start growing crops for an indefinite food source. A nice middle ground, honestly.
A 'zombie hand bursting out of the ground' is a very common zombies trope in cinema. From what I can find, the earliest example is actually from the 1960s film 'The Brides of Dracula' (not quite a zombie, but the imagery is there). The holding of a flower, however, does seem to be unique to PvZ. Whether or not it's an influence, only the writers can say.
I really want to try giving the newer seasons a chance, but I just can't get over how cringy the characters are. There is something truly fascinating and entertaining about the OG contestants from the first season that makes it hard to enjoy the newer seasons. But Jasmine and Shawn are so cute! I might just watch season 5 just to see them.
If there is a new season with old characters returning I hope Jasmine, Shawn, and Sammy return.No other characters from pakhitew, and they interact with the old characters plus get in case of Sammy a better time with no sister and time to improve character and come further ie make it to final 8

i just finished watching this season and i was so happy when i saw shawn and jasmine win. but it was so funny in the finale that even when jasmine was FURIOUS at shawn and dave aswell at skye, jasmine still cared about shawn and dave was just so hqppy about people getting hurt and just getting the money
I love this video! I know a lot of people complain about this season being trash and Jasmine and Shawn saved it but I really like Pahkitew Island! I love Jasmine and Shawns relationship and happy that they got together in the end 😊
As someone who once fell for a tall (6'4) beautiful Australian woman once (even simped for her, yes I did) I really like this a lot. Sadly it didn't work out between us but oh well as long as she's happy that's all that matters. :) P.S we're still really good friends tho!
I like to think that afterwards they moved in together and that then Sammy, finally having had enough of always being compared to Amy, called and asked Jasmine if she could stay with them for a bit and then moved in with the couple and then helped Shawn help Jasmine to open the flower/shop cage fighting school - Shawn should definitely be on board for cage fighting school bit because if the zombies do come then people need to know how to fight in as many ways as possible, plus a healthy garden should keep people aware of the soil in case the zombies rise up. I see Shawn and Jasmine running the shop/school together and Sammy getting a job with them organising appointments for cage fighting classes and working behind the counter selling and ordering flowers.
Total Drama writers were like: "We want to make a season with one of the best couple of the entire franchises with constant development and with actually a good ending and then make a toxic couple which everyone will hate"
Jasmine, Shaun and Sammy were the only good things about this season. Unfortunately, everything else around them was just so, soo, SOOO bad they couldn't upscale it on their own
It's crazy to remember that Pahkiteh aired during the week of my sixteenth birthday. After the absolute disappointment of All Stars, I actually really enjoyed this half of season five. Shawn and Jasmine are literally the main reason. I was even gifted fanart of them by a mutual of mine on tumblr for my birthday. I also had all the episodes on my computer. Tbh, Pahkiteh is still in my top three Total Drama seasons. We'll ignore the first half of season five.
I really like how TDI is so open about unconventional relationships. It makes great progress for the future to be more open minded. So what if a woman is taller or if people are in same-sex relationships. Love is love.

To think a zombie apocalypse preparer was their best (my favorite) character, but then again my biggest gripe with zombie stories in fiction is that no one seems to know about zombies in those stories. Not in any way related to TDI but I threw this in for context.

In my country Jasmine didn't have an australian accent, and now I am very angry that she didn't.
To think a zombie apocalypse preparer was their best (my favorite) character, but then again my biggest gripe with zombie stories in fiction is that no one seems to know about zombies in those stories. Not in any way related to TDI but I threw this in for context.
