If they will not allow you to film, do it anyway. If they bill you, turn around and issue a bill 7x for their lack of license to license such lawful activity. If they demand that you pay, demand that they pay your bill first. If they refuse to pay your bill, that is your authority to not pay their bill. they refuse to show their license to license and refuse to pay the fine for licensing without a license. Tell them to eph off and that if they push it, you will report them to the local sheriff... if they continue, report them. If they still do not stop, tell them that you have PUBLIC AUTHORITY to use FORCE (to the same level they use against us) to stop their illegal bill collection. I used to be an avid hiker and camper but after being shaken down by the ever growing forest police force - I quit going - which like you guys said, seems to be what they want.
I remember going to state parks in Colorado way back in the early 80’s when I was little and one of them had a little room where you could go in and look inside this little bubble thing where it showed a real time view of the entire park!
They didnt anticipate the technology available to the common folk, zoom lenses, drones etc. There are loads of discoveries being made in these parks, evidence that does not jibe with official narrarative.

I'm sorry, but that's kind of silly. That comment at 31:44 is key. With the Agenda 2030 stuff, they are about to shut off public access to federal lands altogether. They probably don't want people seeing images of the parks in hopes that peoples awareness of their very existence will just fade away. The language the park rangers were using - "cluttering up OUR parks" - is the mentality they've been bred with lately with that goal in mind.

This actually happened to me in the valley of fire several years back. Before that live exercise dubbed Event too oh won (coded for safety 🤭).
I am an amateur photographer. A hobby of mine. I was setting up to get a very popular composition often shot there. A female ranger told me I needed a permit. I asked for what? She responded to take photos. I was confused and told her it was a hobby. That I don’t take profit from these. Just a hobby. She insisted I needed a permit. Well, there was a couple using a dslr obstructing traffic taking photos in the middle of the road..she just smiled and waved at them. I stood my ground and she was starting to lose her ground on the argument so she went after where I had parked. Yes there are signs designating where and where not to park. I was parked in an authorized area next to someone else (no she didn’t harass them).
She started to lose that argument and then placed her hand on her gun and said she was going to get metro here to have me arrested if I didn’t comply. At this point I was hot. I do have a bit of a short temper when I know I’m right. So I just complied to her demands before it escalated.
So i just gathered my gear and drove down the road and waited for her to leave and went back and got my shot anyway. 😂
So I went to the ranger station and spoke to the man in charge and told me I needed a permit to photograph regardless if it was a hobby…long story short, they have been fencing off land like crazy and limiting our access and what we can do on that land. It’s insane. It’s made taking landscape photos a job. Can’t even enjoy my hobby like I use to. So sad.

Right after I saw my first youtuber getting cited for this, I also watched another off-grid youtuber who got turned in for his "illegal" tiny house (which was in fact quite legal in his county). I concluded that someone is out there trolling youtube to find different ways to shut down these ingenious independent individuals and stop them living free on their own terms. Several of the Amendments have been nullified, however I no longer actively study law, and don't have the specifics for this claim. The problem is that at law the bankrupt municipal corporation masquerading as the U.S. Government (which is administered from Dabel, Switzerland) deems all citizens as enemies of the state, and I could dig up more on this. That means anything any citizen does that does not conform to their civil code is subject to punitive measures. It doesn't have to make sense - it has to make the economy impoverish the state and the citizens.
An application for a permit or license has a CUSIP attached to it. Unravel that one. A license originally was permission to sin granted by the Vatican. Now it means the holder of the license (at a monetary cost let alone wasted/surrendered time and energy) is privileged to do something because their parents signed away their right to do that very same act or action through signed acceptance of the Birth Certificate, let alone the Act of Live Birth held by the Vatican. Every one of us was born into bondage.

Something else insane in the past couple years. The National Park's I've been to don't except cash money. I only use cash so the couple times it's come up, they let me in for free. But they won't do that forever. Makes me so damn pissed.

Everyone with a smartphone (with camera) is essentially a journalist, this may be a ‘threat’ to organisations who don’t want stuff to be exposed etc.
In the near future I can 100% see licenses and permits to enable photography/videography in certain areas.
All it takes is a few seconds for a civilian to whip out their phone camera and record ‘evidence’ of something and go live…

Right. That's the point. If they bill you, why not counter bill them 7x for their lack of license to license lawful activities? If they decline to pay your bill, you are right in declining their bill in kind. Think of it as You pay their fictitious bill with your own fictitious bill.
. The fact is we as US citizens own this land. We pay to protect and maintain it so as any person with any common sense could reason out, we also have a right as individual citizens to make a buck off of it without a license. Of course, because the land is for common use, rules are needed for special circumstances to protect against damage, misuse and overuse. The fact is that by misinterpreting and broadening an already questionable existing rule beyond its original intended purpose, the rule becomes nonsensical and unenforceable.

This is outrageous and is an indicator on how the Police State is being imposed on the public. However, unless I'm mistaken, you can still take still photos if it isn't "commercial use". In the meantime, support any legal movement and talk to "law"-makers in government if possible.

They will argue that the parks are private property and not public land. The owners of the land allow the public to use it with certain caveats / limitations.

What are they hiding in the national parks? Ask Dave Paulides how many people are missing in them. The parks don't keep track. AND they are going to find a way to tax everything you do everywhere.
So it's only enforced if you upload it to the internet? What's stopping me from taking pictures deep into the trails, what's stopping me from saying it was somewhere else? This is stupid but it's just another revenue for the government.
Yes in spirit; I think the ruling here doesn't conform to logic; the presumption of knowing the circumstances of footage appearing on line is ridiculous.
Your smart phone logs where every picture is taken. Most new digital cameras do too. The only way around this is old cameras.
People are going messing in the parks. And they don't want you to catch what is going on.
I encourage all of you to check out the property range of your local state park. You may find that just like mine, they e bought up tiny pieces of every dang county. Every spring and cave they can. Truly a monopolization of resources is at hand.
UNesco owns most state parks. Look it up.

This is gross. The parks are created and maintained using our tax dollars, we have to pay to get in, and they dictate when we can go.
The parks should be free, and open 24/365. Charging people to film there is absurd, and is almost DEFINITELY not for revenue. They're hiding something.
there is NO such thing as "government controlled property" when the "government" is "we the people".... seems some folks have become destructive to the ends of life liberty and pursuit of happiness and the reigns that bind the "government" from interfering with these inalienable rights endowed by God to His creatures.
Remember the citizens united ruling that "Corporations are People Too" as in We the People? The constitution is now a piece of paper that protects the corporations.
"The People" is not the "collection of humans" like you may presume... "We The People" was and is the "collection of legal identities that represent the actual human beings." "The People" is a legal weapon in lawfare that isn't what most people think it means. At one point, "The People" was actually human beings (~1800).
But today, "We, the People" is actually the set of int'l legal "persons" called "UN Nationals." Your legal identity is "government controlled property." Your human body is "gov't controlled property" via UN National legal identity. Legal identities do not have inalienable rights. If you call yourself a "citizen" then you can't say you have ANY human rights except those defined by the UN to deprive you of your rights by color of law.

I heard years ago during Obama the parks in America were given or sold to the UN. Wondering if this is their reasons behind this.
There's a similar rule in the UK with the National Trust now. You have to pay £100 for a license to take pictures if you want to use them professionally
