I love the fact that I can not only see the nature around you and can also hear it , the water, the wind ,even the sound of your foot steps, wether it be loose gravel or stone it all makes a different sound it makes me feel like I'm there

Love those wide angle shots looking down the valley.
Gorgeous views of that waterfall, too. Well done.

Wow, beautiful! Yes, I was thinking about how hard those rocks would be on the ankles, just as you said. Great video, thanks!

I’ve been up Pearly rock last year, but not on this side. Only far enough to visit the old foundations of the Glacier House. Man, what I would give to have seen that back in the day.

Awesome, I was just looking at that Perly rock when I was doing the map animations for this video. That trail goes on the other side of the waterfall correct?

@@IdRatherBeHiking yup, and up to the glacier. No scrambling but it’s a great steep trail. Perfect leg workout haha. We got up there just as a huge piece calved. Huge echoing roar. There were some ice caves but looking at recent pieces that fell…I didn’t go in. Think they have warning signs up now.

@@FatpackingSmitty Thats such a wild sound right, I was at Victoria glacier a few days ago and a big chunk broke off and echoed through the corridor down to lake louise.

Really enjoy your treks. That poop smell? That most likely was one or two grizzlies recently in the vicinty. I've been downwind of enough of them to recognize that stench. When I worked the Bella Coola area their shite smell in summer was very telling

it was some serious beef n bean burrito going on there haha. Could be a fish or salmon filled bear poop which is why it smelt so bad
