Space Hunter for Mega Drive/SEGA Genesis

Let me introduce you to Space Hunter. An original project by GameDevBoss and myself as producer. Although original, it does have some temporary Metroid music. This project will be going up on Kickstarter later in the year. Yes, I know it's a short preview.

METROID FOR THE GENESIS #ripoff

Well if they make a good clone then that won’t be too shabby. A SNES or GBA Metroid port to Sega’s system would’ve been nicer IMO, but they want a game they can sell. I’d make the character look less like Samus and maybe get rid of the Morph Ball because that’s a trademark Metroid power up. Can’t blame people for calling it a ripoff with the way it looks right now.

It was originally Metroid. GameDevBoss worried Nintendo would shut down the project.

Yes, I fully intend to finish Darkstalkers. I'm will be taking a bit of a break to work on Space Hunter and then I'll be back to work on Darkstalkers. (Sim, pretendo terminar Darkstalkers. Farei uma pausa para trabalhar em Space Hunter e depois voltarei a trabalhar em Darkstalkers.)

Yes, it’s a real project on Mega Drive/Genesis. We hope to have a good size demo ready before the end of the year.
