Mace didn’t have to kill him. He chose to, mind you he is a Jedi master with supposed restraint.
Go watch that scene again. Jango just killed the beast and was actively shooting at Windu.
To murder means to kill without provocation. Jango tried to kill Mace and died in the attempt.

@@Kahless_the_Unforgettableif I remember the scene right, Windu cut the barrels off of Jango’s blaster pistols, then spun around once and beheaded him.
Murder? Hard to say. There was a whole battle going on, so Windu couldn’t really take the time to force Jango to surrender, nor could he afford the risk of letting Jango use one of his many other weapons.
But what he did would definitely go against the Jedi Code. Lucky thing Anakin wasn’t watching…

It was a battlefield. What was Mace supposed to do? Babysit him for the rest of the battle? He couldn't knock him out because of the helmet. If he didn't end the threat, he could just pick up a weapon and start being a problem again.
Also, Mandalorians are known to have hidden weapons. He still had the missile on his jet pack. He might have had a Whistling Bird (the tiny missiles Din Djarin uses, these are rare). Jedi knew about these hidden weapons because they fought Mandalorians before.
In comics, Mace did regret killing Jango. But that is Disney Fan Fic. So it seems fine to me.

You may not read this but i love your content and the way you deliver the info with the music in the back flows crazy well. In my opinion it gives me the feeling of how i think it feels to unlock a new understanding in the force.

Funny how when people called the Jedi in due to Mandalorian shenanigans, they responded pretty quick this time round. I imagine the final syllable of Mandalorian wasn't even out of the guys mouth before Yoda said; Assist we will! Need another Revan, we do not.

Dooku made the right choice of making Jango Fett a clone donor but the wrong one idea to let him be the only, he and Sidous should done something to Thrawn’s clone army in legends to put all the cloning DNA one is a bad idea. Sure it would be difficult to find four or five other humans that are close to Jango in how dangerous of a Jedi killer but that does not they could not find them. Though having more then one template would be more befitting to the Sith for Jedi would less doubtful to the clone army if they not only number of Jango’s faces running around them.
What Windu did was over kill! Revenge to Jango. Well, actually it was a great fight scene. Jango died fighting
Jango killed Myles’s killer by using a garrote, not by head butting him. The head butt put him down and then he comes up behind and garroted him
Attack of the Clones made Jango cool. This single brawl made him terrifying.

Well he had Jango and another bounty hunter compete for the job by seeing who could kill his old apprentice first. Jango killed both the apprentice and his competitor so he became the best choice for the job

Here again is another amazing example of why Legends stories need to be incorporated into the Canon. I had no idea Jango Fett had that much weight on his shoulders towards the Jedi entering Geonosis.

YES!!!! THANK YOU! He was indeed MURDERED because Mace FUCKING DISARMED HIM then proceeded to decapitate an unarmed man. However, you completely missed the ball when it came to why he was chosen. This was fully explained in the game Bounty Hunter. Jango, amongst many other bounty hunters, was hired to find and kill Komari Vosa who was Dooku's estranged apprentice. Fett was the only one to be able to get to her, and nearly died in the process, but Zam Wesel came to his rescue and freed him allowing him to get the upper hand. Though Dooku arrived and dealt the killing blow, Fett did have her at gunpoint. It was at this time that Fett questioned Dooku as to why he was hired if he already knew where Vosa was, and demanded his payment. At this point the initial sum of 100 million credits was indeed offered, but Dooku proposed even more if he would join him on Kamino to be cloned, Jango only agreed if he was given the first clone for himself, directly lining up with what Prime Minister Lama Su said in episode 2.

Also he might've been disarmed, but who knows what else the armor held as surprises? And he mever stood down. Jango could've just rushed him, Windu needs to defend and takes 5000 blaster bolts to the back (number not even that hyperbolic when lookong at the arena and his exposed position).

I think Jango made up this story. There's no way that he did all this, yet was too incompetent to assassinate Padme, got lucky to get away from Obi Wan, was so ignorant to the situation around him to the point that Windu got his blade to Jangos neck, infront of his son I might add, before Jango even knew he was there, and then in his first melee with a Jedi on the field of battle on Geonosis he loses his head..... But he did all of this? I don't believe it.
Tbf with padme people seem to pass on the job constantly dooku to jango jango to another guy another guy to poison her it was just weird and obi wan is good at defense third time mace sneaked him he doesnt have the force he cant just detect an air vibration or something it happens and when mace killed him we saw earlier his jetpack was damaged and he tried to use it while windu was running to him but it malfunctioned and we see the story happen so it likely did happen
