if you want to see another awesome live performance, which i dont know about now days because last time I seen them I was like 25 years old and im 36 now but... MushroomHead show is so bad ass like they really do it up specially if it is at night or they do it inside of a hall thats enclosed they literally have the guy with the electrode mask that has sparks going from electrode to electrode in their videos at the show and it was literally sparking up and they did smoke and light show with water on the drums the flashing lights and water on the drums when he would play every pop on the snare would send water in the air and the flash of lights would make it look like the water was staying in the air it was fkn sick plus they are all just bad ass nice guys

These guys will always be my favorite metalcore band. They don't do that same, gimmicky break down crap most bands use and have their own sound; hard to find in 99% of metalcore bands this day in age

Nah that's not necessarily the case... This years edition is still not sold out (1000 tickets left) and it's only a few days away... However for next years Wacken the tickets might run out a lot faster since it's the 30th Anniversary^^ The reason why the tickets sell that slow compared to previous years is probably because of growing competition with numerous festivals that either didn't exist a few years ago (like Rockavaria in Munich) or became bigger and more recognised throughout the world (like Hellfest and Graspop)
For such an intense band they wear plain red shirts with buttons and collars !? I think they are in serious need of a metal makeover. Great song. (Nachtblut, Leid Fur Die Gotter - a band that sings in German, mdm with folk influences.)
In fact, most of them still have a day-to-day job. Singer Markus Bischoff works as a nurse, the drummer is a teacher, and the bass player is an occupational therapist. Maik Weichert is a lawyer and only the other guitar player, Alex Dietz is a professional musician and producer.

They are from east germany which so, compared to plain german, they actually have a rather silly dialect. I can barely take them seriously when they're talking xD
Metal bands with no clean vocals put on some of the best live shows ever, yet when listening in general, I prefer clean vocals and screams when listening normally. Heaven Shall Burn, Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, and a few others will consistently put on immaculate concerts. It has a lot to do with the challenges of being the soundman for live shows that have to set the audio in a way that both cleans and screams will sound decent. Mixing screams in the studio compared to cleans is different, sometimes drastically different. They often use different mics, different booths, different processors, DAW's, levels, and even different studios or the cleans being recorded weeks before the screams are laid down. This crowd is completely unhinged and detached from reality during this song for some reason. I bet the medical tents had long lines of bloody, concussed, overdosed, heat stroke, broken bones, sprained, bruised tweaked, torn lol This is a stampede, except they go around in circles and people get super violent. I love it. I wish I was there!
