I really love this scene when Michael has experience the same thing he did to Laurie in 1978. I can tell he’s a bit scared when she disappeared and out of his sights.
I don’t think that scared him because when she falls he turns to leave then checks again. I’m pretty sure he sensed that she was not going to go down so easily.
I love how relentless he is in this scene. It shows how evil he really is. He got shot in the shoulder, half of his fingers blown off, got bit, been hit and punched, stabbed in the shoulder and sliced in the hand, and even kicked back down the stairs, and still was trying to climb back up the steps to kill his prey. That is what makes him scary to me.

It seems like Michael didn't really go after Laurie, just that he was led to her by his psychiatrist. Does it seem to you guys like MIchael knew who Laurie was? If he is detached enough from humanity, he may not even remember her or find it significant to meet up with her all these years later.

The scene where Karen comes to the realization that this is really happening is so powerful. She spent most of her life embarrassed of her mom, ashamed of what her trauma turned her into. She even tried to become a psychiatrist maybe understand what made her mom the way she was. In the end she was forced to come face to face with that very same evil. Despite the fake out you can tell her fear was genuine, but this was it, this is what her mother prepared her for her entire life. No school, no degrees, this was the moment she finally understood her mother.
It's amazing. These timelines have always been a staple of the Halloween franchise. For the first time in this franchise, two timelines were created within the same sets of movies. You can have a multiple choice ending lol
If it's Thorn timeline Michael, yeah, he's truly unstoppable and fully immortal and you cannot stop him. But Michael in the other timelines is not fully immortal.
I love the head tilt as he realizes what's just happened, normally he does that as a way to either intimidate or more commonly appreciate his kills. But for once it's used in reverse, where he is tilting his head at a survivor finally being able to beat him, the trap being so elaborate that he had no way of expecting it.
They did good of this version of Michael. This scene was absolutely terrifying when I first seen this movie and Michael barely even scares me. Absolutely a badass movie
@@3rdreichball525 Carpenter never had a sequel planned but he agreed to it. I think he sold his stake after part 3 but I'd need to do more research. I will do a video on it soon. I'm currently finishing up some Star Wars content. Cheers.
I love how when Laurie and Michael are sparring in the first room, Michael doesn't utilize his two opportunities to kill Laurie when he has her grappled because he recognized her. First, Michael could have crushed Laurie's throat with the rifle at 0:06, but he tilts his head in confusion once he realizes she looks familiar, which buys her enough time to escape. Then at 0:20, Michael could have killed Laurie by stabbing her somewhere lethal, but he brought his knife down into her abdomen so he could grapple her and get a closer look to confirm that this is the same chick that got away 40 years ago. It's subtle visual storytelling, but it makes this final showdown a lot more rewarding since Michael *knows* who he's dealing with. I'm excited to see how pissed off Michael will be next week now that he knows the one that got away twice is gunning for him, and now he has a clear target to hunt down again!
@@zazlar4228 That's true, too. Usually, when Michael 'plays with his food,' he'll lethally maim his target and then follow/watch them as they die or try to escape. Think of the scene in the 2007 remake where child Michael stalks his dying sister down the hall; it may be a different timeline, but that general behavior has been consistent across the franchise. Here, he seems more focused on holding Laurie still long enough to get a better look at her. I guess we'll find out if Michael actually recognized Laurie Strode in this encounter soon enough, with Halloween Kills finally being released!
@@zazlar4228 I watched it too. A little disappointed that it seems Michael doesn't even acknowledge Laurie's existence, but overall I thought it was decent.

The whole buildup from 2:55-4:05 is excellent -- I'm glad they gave Judy Greer such an awesome scene.
Props to Laurie... she held her own in this fight. Then again she'd been preparing for this showdown for years.
1:03 Michael: "oh shit she's coming for me."
He’s like ah fuck... 😂😂
"So that's how it feels..."
The theater I was in applauded at that part
He actually looked like that's what he was thinking, the way he was looking around. Also the way he snatched that firepoker off the wall.
Michael being stalked by Laurie 🤣🤣🤣
It's so creepy how Michael doesn't even react to getting trapped, he just blankly stares at them.
The music throughout this entire scene is amazing
Karen: "I CAN'T DO IT, I'M SORRY!!!"
Micheal: "lmao this is too easy"
Karen: "Gotcha"
Micheal: "Oh boy...."
this scene made everyone in the theater go crazy
Also Michael: That didn't do shit. Surprise? I think not.
*Mickey Mouse voice* Oh boy !
Probably the smartest horror movie decision I’ve ever seen
More like “ah fuck I can’t believe you’ve done this”
I like how Michael's clothes are completely fire proof in the new trailer
Well I mean he did take a car shop guys boiler suit
@@Theamericanvillian I thought it was a jump suit…
The original had a jumpsuit but this reboot did not
@@thesusman1776 your telling me. Micheal didn’t wear a jumpsuit?

After watching Halloween Ends I gotta say, this is the real ending, Kills & Ends are both bad dreams.
It's amazing. These timelines have always been a staple of the Halloween franchise. For the first time in this franchise, two timelines were created within the same sets of movies. You can have a multiple choice ending lol
I found Halloween kills dumb af but it was a fun movie overall to watch(not the hospital scene). As for ends never heard of it 💩
Ngl I actually enjoyed kills. 2018 was the best one but kills was also enjoyable. Ends though was extremely disappointing.
Yep they should have stopped right here. But add Lindsay's chase scene from kills.
Kills is as good as this one is I mean come🤦
Real Michael Myers Fans Know, there truly is no stopping Him.
Jason Voorhees can.
l
I don’t think that he can.
A grenade launcher and come c4 will lol
Gio Arroyo only except that fight aint ever gonna end cause neither one of them can die
If it's Thorn timeline Michael, yeah, he's truly unstoppable and fully immortal and you cannot stop him. But Michael in the other timelines is not fully immortal.
I loved this sequel Jamie Lee came back and kilt this one she wasn't playing.
Laurie: “it’s not a cage, it’s a trap”
Micheal: wait so another movie?
"Tra-yap- as Karen says it.

That’s our Micheal
Some people want to see you do good and Other people want to see certain things happen to you.
Honestly, the best part of this whole scene, is the sound effects of the frying pan meeting Micheals face.
I feel like out of all the shit done to him in this movie that Frying pan swing across the face he felt the most 😂😂😂😂
This guy is such a badass throughout the entire movie
You can really see the terror and worry in his face as Laurie disappears. So emotional
Loomis: "Death has come to your little town, sheriff."
I don’t care what anyone says. This was my favorite sequel. So excited for the other two ❤️
I love how you can hear Michael go "OOW" when he gets shot in the cheek
Sounded like an "OOF"
He just kinda grunts aggressively lol
More like an "ugh" or a grunt
So freaking good, love this movie
It was a awesome film!!🔥👍🏾🤣
Love this movie
Drew Dixon best Halloween sequel
Can’t wait for the next two movies in this continuity
@ lmao why are you here?
Title: Michael Myers Final Fight.
Me: Yeah. Sure. "Final".
Le MAO XXVI 😂😂😂😂😂 nice one
Halloween 2018 was last film but biggest box office. They make two more sequels
for real and now there’s a trailer out.
Firemen:I'm about to end this man's whole career
it meant of this movie
Still a better final fight than halloween ends’s final fight
I love the head tilt as he realizes what's just happened, normally he does that as a way to either intimidate or more commonly appreciate his kills. But for once it's used in reverse, where he is tilting his head at a survivor finally being able to beat him, the trap being so elaborate that he had no way of expecting it.
The survivor beating him!? Please tell you are aware of the sequel to this film that’s releasing in 4 months time😅
Its touching how much strength Laurie gets to get back up when she hears her grand daughter calling out for her
4:53 damn Allyson had DS
DS OP ! She is hacking, she hasn't been hooked yet!
@@ibonnieth2306 This was before the patch update where Michael has to dribble survivors to avoid DS.
tr4sh dbd love it
Michael step into his own bear trap, lol
Shame Michael wasn't in tier 3. Could have 1 shot them all
They did good of this version of Michael. This scene was absolutely terrifying when I first seen this movie and Michael barely even scares me. Absolutely a badass movie
It bothers me every day that this movie wasn't titled "Halloween Returns"
Probably legal issue- also they wanted to emphasize NONE of the film besides 1 is canon.
@@darkthorpocomicknight7891 what about 2? 2 was literally the same night just at the hospital
@@3rdreichball525 Carpenter never had a sequel planned but he agreed to it. I think he sold his stake after part 3 but I'd need to do more research. I will do a video on it soon. I'm currently finishing up some Star Wars content. Cheers.
@@darkthorpocomicknight7891 sure he didnt plan a sequel initially but Carpenter still wrote Halloween 2.
Halloween Reunion has a better ring to it.
I love the small detail of the music sting playing that usually only plays when Micheal is on screen, playing when Laurie disappears.
It’s also cool to see Michael’s head turning when he got a good look at Laurie and recognizing her
I love how when Laurie and Michael are sparring in the first room, Michael doesn't utilize his two opportunities to kill Laurie when he has her grappled because he recognized her.
Because he wants to play Cat & Mouse with Laurie. He's just as fascinated with her as she is with him
@@zazlar4228 That's true, too.
@@LP-PADICIA Watched Halloween Kills tonight, and funnily enough, I don't think he's interested in Laurie at all. It gets interesting
@@zazlar4228 I watched it too. A little disappointed that it seems Michael doesn't even acknowledge Laurie's existence, but overall I thought it was decent.
I can’t wait to see what Halloween Ends has to offer

The ONLY thing i hated about this movie was that the girl called her Grandmother instead of grandma...i dont know why but it bugged the hell outta me lol
it sounds so wrong for this movie
I feel the same.. lol
No, it makes sense, I've heard kids call them that when they're not close to they're grandchildren, it happens.
I said the same thing but it makes sense due to her not being closed to Jamie.
Ryan Music maybe because they didn’t have much of a relationship. Better than Laurie called Michael “Brother” in Zombies Halloween 2.
