First of all, I must say I’m both a little embarrassed and deeply grateful for Sam’s kind words about me☺️. He’s already shared some background about how we met, but I’ll add that his support and curiosity about Asaf’s music have been truly remarkable. It’s not something I take for granted. We connected through reaction channels featuring Asaf’s music. Sam has been incredibly eager to explore and understand Asaf’s artistry, and I’ve been happy to share everything I know with him. He quickly realized that I’m not only very familiar with Asaf’s work but also actively involved in promoting it on various reaction platforms. Some reactors have taken us - this amazing group of supporters - on an unforgettable journey with Asaf’s music. A little background: Born in Israel to diplomatic parents, Asaf grew up in diverse cultures, including Jamaica. He’s a highly successful and renowned artist, especially in Europe, with a career spanning almost 20 years. Currently, he resides in France. Excitingly, Asaf has a brand-new album coming out very soon, so this is the perfect time to dive into his music! Asaf doesn’t believe in limiting himself to genres. Instead, he sees them as tools to freely express emotions, unrestrained by labels. His ability to shift effortlessly between musical styles, paired with his unique vocal delivery, makes him an exceptionally versatile artist. I stumbled into the world of reactions completely by chance. With my deep appreciation and passion for Asaf’s unconventional and mesmerizing art, I couldn’t resist trying to bring more exposure to his work. What started as a casual interest turned into something much more significant. Over time, I realized there were certain barriers that needed addressing - for example, many of Asaf’s videos were once blocked, making it difficult for reactors to share them. Being a practical person who loves finding solutions, I decided to contact Asaf’s management team (not an easy task! 😃) and brought these issues to their attention. They were responsive, and those obstacles were eventually resolved. Since then, I’ve found myself increasingly invested in this journey, regularly sharing ideas and feedback with his team to ensure things run smoothly. If you ever encounter any challenges with Asaf’s content, feel free to reach out - I’ll do my best to assist🙏 As for recommendations: Asaf’s versatility is one of his greatest strengths, so I’d suggest starting with different styles to showcase this: 1) 900 Days - In a box III Several people have mentioned this track, and I wholeheartedly agree-it’s a must-watch. A masterpiece and an excellent performance!! Asaf Avidan is a versatile artist with a unique voice ! Great Reaction Michael, thank you for sharing!! Thank you Sam for this request !!
Yeah.. that was great.. I had told Micheal I was curious to see if he had seen anyone do what he does at the end with the guitar.. I also knew Micheal would give me a great deal more insight to the instrumentals and the looping machine.. and he definitely gave us some education on this reaction. Glad you enjoyed it.

I think the article was written by Steve Vai if memory serves….it would’ve been in the late 80s. Thanks for the request!!
jfc that song is madness. Stopped by to check out your reaction as I remembered that Ren had been super excited about this guy. Beauty, contemplation, obsession, and a musical depiction of the spiral into violence.... (said with interest, admiration, *and* a kind-of apprehensive fear) Interestingly enough, his voice INSTANTLY made me think of Ruby J's (ie, another Ren connection). At least, in this one. I'm 100% of the suspicion that there's even more to his voice than we see here (which is pretty impressive to start with). I came to find this one after finding out that today's drop was your 2nd Avidan song, figured I should check out whatever had come first, first. I'll definitely check out more from him.
Hey nice to hear from you. Yeah my first reaction never really caught a wave….I thought it would get more views. Maybe it’ll be one that gets around slowly. I just want ppl to be hip to this. It’s quite fresh✌️

Bang Bang in a box II .. sooo many layers! Thanks for reacting to ASAF , Ren suggested this amazing artist !🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
jfc that song is madness. Stopped by to check out your reaction as I remembered that Ren had been super excited about this guy. Beauty, contemplation, obsession, and a musical depiction of the spiral into violence....
(said with interest, admiration, *and* a kind-of apprehensive fear)
Interestingly enough, his voice INSTANTLY made me think of Ruby J's (ie, another Ren connection).
Reckoning song live at the Acropolis is an awesome performance with some beautiful guitar work in the beginning. Check it out, you won't regret it.

Can't handle the voice... wish I could as the instrumental parts are interesting. 😞
It’s unusual…give it a 2nd try and you may hear past it. If not I owe you 5 minutes! 😉
