Wohooooo! Go Rinat! Love seeing more Asaf on your channel, his music is addictive to say the least. Very primal in sound and it hits deep in the caverns of my soul 🤩🤩 The lyrics in this song are so fascinating too. It's amazing that he didn't learn music until he was 26 years old. I admire him for trying out many odd things and finding his own unique way. His music will stay with me for life.
Hi there Jimmy. 🎶First I have to say that its great to see a reactor be genuinly enthusiastic and recognize All of his talents and gifts.🎁 Asaf Avidas cannot be described with one or two words because he is go much more. Every word you used to describe him and his music was not only accurate but I probably couldnt have said it better myself but what truely sets him apart is that he is not concerned with impressing anyone by perfectly hitting those High Notes or rehearse with a dance Choriographer hours on end to flawlessly perform on Stage. He writes, Sing and performes according to the emotion envoked by a particular Song. So when you mentioned how he is only in competition with himself is not only accurate but IMO I don't think there is anyone (living anyway) that can fairly compete with him. Without Concern for Impressing anyone but himself gives the freedom do be as creative as he wants. We See this through the unconventional way he uses istruments, the way he experiments vocally, how he can go from Alternative Rock to Jazz Blues (Sometimes in the Same song) all the way to making a Kazoo Sound like a saxaphone. From head to toe, every moucule in his DNA is fused with music notes.. It still amazes me that he was not groomed his whole life to be a GREAT musician! Thank you for your excellent reactions! I will be on the lookout👀 for more on your channel. 🩵
Asaf is truly one of a kind, absolutely phenomenal. He consistently delivers breathtaking performances. Thank you, Jimmy, for your great reaction! I can't wait to see more of Asaf' pieces of art on your channel. A big thanks to Rinat for requesting this one : what a masterpiece!"!🥀
F I R E❤️🔥 Jimmy, you're absolutely amazing! It’s so awesome and heartwarming to know that you got to experience the beauty of our Israel. You’re always welcome back with open arms-just say the word!😍 This song is truly a masterpiece-a complete work of art from start to finish. Asaf’s brilliance shines through in every aspect, from the raw passion in his voice to the depth of emotion in the music. That iconic ‘scream’ perfectly captures the pain and intensity of the story he’s telling. Asaf’s unique ability to weave thought-provoking metaphors with his mesmerizing voice creates something unforgettable. This song, in particular, explores the fragility of human connections-how love, often idealized, is also filled with doubt, longing, and the need for reassurance. It’s poetic, raw, and deeply relatable. By the way, I was curious about the thumbnail-why does the image of Asaf at the piano (from the 'Darkness' song) appear here? It’s a beautiful shot, but I was wondering if it might have been selected by mistake..😀 Is it possible to change it to an image from the current video? I’m so glad you loved it! Huge thanks, Jimmy, for your incredible reaction! I really appreciate your deep insights and the immense respect you have for Asaf’s musical genius ❤️ I’m already looking forward to your next reaction...
Thank you SO MUCH Rinat! You're too kind! Asaf is an amazingly unique artist and it's a joy to have him on the channel with us! Regarding the thumbnail, I find a picture that stands out to me and usually go with it. I don't always keep the thumbnail "song specific". A lot of times I do but not always. Thank you again for your incredible musical choices and for just hanging out with us on the channel! Much love from the United States! ❤️🔥🎉
He is a poet . His lyrics are deep as well. Try to analyze his meanings of his songs?Asaf says it’s left up to your interpretation. He is a rubic cube. You never know what is coming 14:20 next. He has a wicked sense of humor. Well read. Down to earth. Can look himself in the mirror and say outloud truth. ( reminds me of Ren- ❤. I suggest you definitely go down that rabbit hole also) a lot of us who love Asaf also belong to Rens fan base also. A fan of Rens told Ren about Asaf and wanted Ren to check out his music. Story goes Ren got on his platform and said he just heard some songs and wanted us to go support him.

Well done. Try "her lies" for a captivated performance or "the labyrinth song" / "to love another" to see another moelodic side of him but out of this world lyrics" My all time favorite is "lost horses" where you may encounter the longest word in english that actually makes good sence in the lyrics ... and the best metaphor of human existance that you shall not finf in philosophy books "Ι want you to hold me Perpendicularly only Sundial for the gods We were born to fail" It is a song about loss and is interesting to see the clip of how he came to consive this lyrics. It s all about the entropy of the universe the inevitable but divine outcome where the mortal beings are in one sence just a measure of time for the imortal universe (or gods in a more simple interpretation).
