    I thought this video was going to be Kyle walking us through his matches on TV. What he thought of each shot, what his adjustments were, what was going through his head, etc. Hopefully that video will come in the future.

    I liked the analysis as Kyle was bowling it in real time. It also shows how good of a benchmark ball the Phase 2 is (or anything similar in the other ball companies)

    Nice one guys! How about one of Brad's better performances for the next one? I believe he made a run in 2022 on a couple of tournaments, when the Pitch Black was still in play.

    It should be said that just because the same Masters pattern is laid down, doesn't mean it's going to play the same as at the Masters last year. There are A LOT of other factors that change how the same pattern plays environment to environment.

    HEY KYLE, GREAT HAND AND ANGLE POSITION TO MAKE THE BALL DO WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO DO ON THIS PATTERN FRESH. QUESTION THOUGH IF THE PATTERN STARTS TRANSITIONING LIKE A FEW GAMES DOWN WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO PLAY ON THESE 46 HEAVY OIL PATTERNS USING THE LAW OF 31? THAT WOULD MEAN YOUR BREAK POINT WOULD BE BOARD 15 WHILE USING A STRONGER COVER BALL. THAT BE A SECOND OPTION USING STRONGER COVER BALL?

    When you guys say “im looking at 5-10”, are you talking about the breakpoint, the arrows or your laydown? Thanks

    I worked the Masters last year and complimented Rob Gotchall on the pattern. Very little urethane was used AND right handers didn't have to move in front of ball return at the end of a block. Something as a fan I don't enjoy watching.
    And Kyle threw the Infinite Physix. IMO one of Storms best.

    This is a longshot - could you guys elaborate on that last point on why this pattern in particular eliminated Urethane from the field?

    • @BearBlair
      @BearBlair 2 місяці тому

      The pattern was high mL, and 46ft. A combination that doesn't like urethane that much because urethane needs so much more time to make the turn at the break point than reactive. It was just too slow.

    Did you change the surface on the phaze 2 for this pattern? I also noticed your not wiping off the oil in between shots any reason why?

      I see oil wiping now. Just not on the first shots

    If you do something wrong, just make sure you do an even number of wrong things, and you'll be ok. You can miss left if you don't get enough hand on it, but if you just miss left or don't enough hand on it, it's usually a disaster. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it 😂

    I would love to bowl on a lane that flat. If I had a shot like that at my local house it would look like the surface of the moon

    Bowling is a funny game. The things you think that you’re doing are typically very different than what you’re actually doing when you watch it on tape. Kyle was really getting around most of those shots, very different than what he was explaining.

      “Up the back” and “end-over-end” (like you see Kyle doing at 1:09 to pick up the 4-pin) mean two different things in bowling terminology.
