Okay now chill. Everybody knows that they are just characters. But like it or not shows like this can teach some good life lessons what to do and what not to do even from characters
JR was never meant to be a husband to any woman and didn't deserve anyone to love him. Like Miss Ellie once asked him, "Is there anyone that you love?"
JR toughened Sue Ellen up, what he did was for her own good. She even said so herself. She was a neurotic power hungry nymphomaniac as well as being as a hopeless drunk. It took JR's cruelty to get her to stand on her own two feet. Whilst getting JR and Sue Ellen divorced a 2nd time was a good idea getting rid of Sue Ellen wasn't. They should havd had her as JR's equal and all powerful and the two at each others throats in business. Cally was a weak character and a mistake and by this stage the writing was poor. James and Michelle were alao weak characters. The writers also turned JR into a joke. There was one scene with Michelle in his shower butt naked and the old JR would have banged her. There were other weak storylines like it took JR 10 years to bed Sly. I thought he would havr done it sooner.
JR wasn’t a good husband. Sue Ellen was a alcoholic but she wasn’t a nymphomaniac like JR would tell people (ie Dusty). JR might have helped make Sue Ellen strong but it came at the expense of him completely neglecting, cheating on her and tearing her down as a wife, mother and person.
Callie should have got about 5 million from J.R and then bounced. But seriously in real life would have been the biggest fool to let her go. She wasn’t a gold digger and tried to make herself useful.
To call J.R. a failure is propitious while he never treated the women in his life right based on being a power figure. And it's amazing how a good many fans take up for a girl like Cally in character not to been J.R.'s type at all practically jail bait for the late seasons of Dallas to be ultimate trash.
That was too good for Cally. She lied to JR from the start, said lied and she was pregnant to get married. She was a gold digger. It was back to the pig sty and her brothers for Cally but at least she had the chance to use that 200k to start afresh.
Both Sue Ellen and Cally craved JRs love, attention and affection when they were married to him.
Jenny P I agree. I liked Cally and Sue Ellen. He had 2 chances of marriage, Sue Ellen and Cally, and he really blew it.
@@njdxnjdx yes robert agreed , but who's to say they didn't blow him the dressing room

He’s a ruthless fcker
Still called Sue Ellen "Darlin'".
Who would ever sign papers without reading them that JR folded and said sign 🙄
true .you have to becareful what you sign
Especially something JR gives you.
“I don’t want to see your face again..not here at Southfork or Dallas.” Hands me a check for 200k. Me: “Deal.”
You would sell yourself that short? At that time, J.R. was worth at least $200 million.
I would have taken 500 bucks😂
@@leopoldonotarianni8663LMAO me too 😂 that's grocery money
JR was so MEAN AND NASTY to Cally, and he deserved everything Cally would have given him, and more.

Sue Ellen was a great girl hated the way Jr treated her

If I had a wife like Callie I wouldn't leave her for nothing.
It was an absolutely stupid storyline having JR marry someone as young as Cally.
J.R. would end up paying for treating Cally like that. Cally should've known the type of person J.R. is.
Callie should have got about 5 million from J.R and then bounced. But seriously in real life would have been the biggest fool to let her go. She wasn’t a gold digger and tried to make herself useful.
Sometimes she was little Ditz
The bed JR and his mistress are in, is the same one that used to be in Pam and Bobby’s room.
God is my witness...Scarlett O´Hara-Cally ;)
never really noticed how beautiful cally is...she is a stunner
Je pense que JR aimait vraiment Cally, mais il n'aurait pas été JR s'il avait continué d'être gentil et tendre avec elle, c'était fatal..
❤. So. J r was cheating on cally too
Who was JR making out with when he was talking to Sue Ellen?
It was Serena Wald for a long time Call Girl mistress of J.R.'s.
I personally do believe that JR Ewing would have been better off with somebody rather than Sue Ellen or Cally because all he wants is a rich girl so that she can marry JR Ewing and be his wife for life.

200K was big money back then, JR was very generous
I would be happy if someone gave me that much money. Still big money to me.

I've forgotten this storyline why did JR want Cally to leave him???
The episode is "Those Darned Ewings," which was aired, the month, before the series' finale. JR was always a failure.

$200,00 is that it?
He said two hundred thousand $200,000
She came there with nothing
She could have taken him for millions with the divorce settlement James made him sign in that looney bin he checked himself into.
@@kennyscivally7059 And no cents...just like he told Cliff years earlier
Yes
its how you treat golddiggers
Check please.!
Cally should have yo JR was pregnant with his child.
Manho lol😂
JR Ewing always had away with women. He loved Sue Ellen very much and married her but at the very end there wasn't enough love to last forever and they eventually got divorced twice if once wasn't enough.
Then he goes to another part of Texas where he meets Cally has placed her under the same spell as Sue Ellen and then kicks her out of the ranch.

What's with the dates?
Ole JR could never keep a good woman. Sad. Both Sue Ellen and Callie he loved used and then discarded. Sad.
