- Road Rash is a series of motorcycle racing games developed by Electronic Arts since 1991, in which you participate in violent illegal street races. Orgininally released for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, it has been ported to several platforms like Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear, Sega Saturn, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, 3DO, and - of course - Microsoft Windows on the PC.
In this video, you can see an early pre-release demo of the PC version, which has been done in 1996.

Man the nostalgia… I was in kindergarten back in 2005 or so and used to play this all evening after coming from school… those were such happy times..
Our school computer lab had 10 computers with only 2 of them had this game installed. Going to this lab used to be like an olyampic race just to get one of those two comps. About 4 to 5 students used to adjust on these two comps. When our teacher is busy with something else used to be the best opportunity to play it...

My father used to love this game. It was one of our bonding things. We still remember those gaming days. The first time I played RoadRash was in a relative’s house. I was awestruck and out flat. The effect had a deep impact on me for many years 🤩

Road Rash, Age of Empires, Hard Truck, Dave, Pacman.... Good Ol' 90s when I used to come back from school and play in our computer. Back then Computer was considered a luxury for many. Can't forget the first time I accessed the internet with dialup connection. A single phone call would cut the connection. And I used to play Microsoft Encarta Quizzes with my mother every Saturday night!
