  • 7:20 for discussion on class restructuring. Condense leveling into a single 1-99 process. 1-12 Novice, 12-55 1st Class, 55-80 2nd Class, 80-99 3rd Class. Transcendent and 3rd Class would merge to become one singular 3rd class. Players would choose which class they wanted to be after 2nd class. ie Assassin - SinX OR Assassin - GX. "Renewal" = Modifying the skill trees to align with class IDENTITY.

This sounds quite interesting, great video! In fact, the most important thing of that renewal should have been, as you said, a re-make of trees and skills. The thing that I hate the most is that most of the 2nd class skills you used are totally outdated in end-game (Because of the damage % mainly).
*Im going to apologize about my English first*
That could be solved with a remake of them:
1 - re-balancing the damage percentage: Nobody would use Meteor Storm ever again if the %MATK was THAT LOW and that cast time when you already have Crimson Rock, for example.
2 - Adding a cooldown (not delay) to every skill, just to use it again, as they did in 3rd job skills, avoids the spamming-f1 method. You have to think about cooldowns and make kind of "combos" to keep your damage going while the cooldown refreshes. For example, in case of Ranger, you have to use other skills while Arrow Storm is in cooldown. Maybe using a new Archer-Arrow Shower, maybe using Focused Arrow Strike, or even Aimed Bolt.
Just one thing that doesn't really convice me is that way of seeing that 2nd class as a "trial" and "checking wich playstyle do you like the most" and after that losing all those skills. Because, for example, being a Hunter won't be a trial of anything: Hunter has Falcon+Trap skills, and suddenly Sniper has all Bow skills, and you will lose all "those trial" skills. I don't know if I'm explaining correctly.
You're doing quite good with those re-makes, it should be a hard rock to compensate more or less all of the skills of those new classes, in therms of damage, cooldown and gameplay. But you should take a look at the skills that are not used or just "counting" the offensive / usable skills. For example: Now High Wizard has MANY offensive skills and now Warlock has MANY skills, but none of them is "useful". I mean, Summoning lots of balls can spend a lot of skill points, and having many skills. But those skills are not useful even with a modification. I think Gravitation Zone, Napalm Vulcan and Soul Expansion can be quite interesting with a revamp. In other hand, the HPriest and ArchBishop differente seems to be so cool. One Exorciser-Holy-Debuffer, and the other partybuffer. But, as I said, don't "take in count" unused skills like SlowPoison in Priest, or DemonBane / DivineProtection in Crusader Tree. I think that should be re-distributed and maybe give Paladin another party/holy buff like Inspiration/Hesperus/Banding.
The new redistribution of Cart/Axe Skills is so useful too, Mechanic now seems to be a ranged-type with Cannons and mado-things. But think about that, Geneticist, by the nature of his skills since he was an Alchemist, has lastly been a squishy ranged-type throwing potions or skills. Im not really sure of that this new axe-tree would work. Geneticist doesn't usually go melee.
In the Assassin Cross tree, it would be interesting to make all those Poison Skills be offensive-area skills, because for now, AssaX would only have Grimtooth as an area-killer (And should be interesting too to make it 3x12 instead 3x3, as a Focused Arrow Strike). He doesn't have a "Cloaking" skill (Just Hallucination Walk) and he relies on poisons, so this should be checked. *EDIT: or how about Meteor Assault? Don't see it on the list and it is an interesting poison-like area skill wich would be the counterpart to Rolling Cutter
In the Sage tree, I still think there's a big big difference. Scholar is now a completely support/debuff class, but Dragonology and Study are still useless skills. It is a support class but without being able to Endow, or give another buffs that are now in the Sorcerer tree. I would definitely move Striking to Scholar, and maybe Endows, Insignias or Warmer to compensate them both.
All in all, the most important thing in my opinion should be re-make skills individually, not making a new tree. Seeing again, for example, a useful GrandCross/Gloria Domini, or even a useful Arrow Vulcan would completely remake this game.
It is a great work by your side.
Congrats on the video, such an interesting approach, and sorry about my english!

Ah, we can dream of Ragnarok being party play again
The only one I kinda disagree is about the Axe, I feel like the Axe suits the Battle smiths more in terms of identity
And I'm kinda bias I guess, I love axe mecha waaaay more mado mecha

True, I agree. Ultimately I think the skill tree between the two is just awkward in many ways. Its fun to think about what the ultimate RO would be, but everyone has their own version of what would be good.

Since this is the discussion, my type of play is probably uncommon, I wish Ragnarok would also revamp the following
      - Cooking
      - Planting
      - Potion brewing
      - Smithing
      - Vending ( maybe )
I love how involve these are in the game, but I wish it was more rewarding, I won't get rid of the ranking system for the brewing and Smithing i don't have an alternative idea on what to replace it with at the moment

@@12luigi45 Totally, its sad how those features had so much potential but never evolved over time.
