Thanks for the tips! Highly appreciated! I’d just like to add one more that I found out. Repair your gear as often as possible. Even at 99% damage. I noticed that the repair cost per percent goes up exponentially the more damage you have to repair. As a fictional example: If repairing a piece of equipment at 90% costs 1000k, repairing it at 80% can cost 3000k (not 2000k as I initially expected).
I do this the only thing is, is that I’ve got the seva-d suit and it is a good expensive suit meaning even if it’s not that damaged it cost over 2,000 to repair and I mean I repair it all the time like after heading out one time then returning to a town and repairing and it takes 1-2,000 dollars
@@Killswtich1349 Having the most expensive equipment doesn’t mean that you have to use it all the time without actual reason. Just like in real life, you wouldn’t use a $1000 power-saw to cut sticks to sell for $20… Keep it in your stash for difficult expeditions & missions where you will actually need it. Use less expensive equipment for day-to-day sessions. Also, unequip ALL your armor & weapons when you hunt anomalies (if you can). The damage they give is too much. I always keep just my pistol (for emergencies) when entering anomaly fields and re-equip them after I get the artifact and get out of the field. And NEVER be out in an emission while wearing your Armani!
@@foteinimantzali8691 aight I normally don’t hunt anomalies I’m not gonna do that until a little later in the game so I can get the best ones I might do a little here and there to make a little cash but I normally don’t do it. Also I normally use the armor because I normally don’t go anywhere that doesn’t have gunfights because I want the loot the only exception is going to get stashes and other thing I just like to stay safe but for gunfights yeah I’ve got a vest that’s about as good I could use that I just use the seva-d in case I accidentally run into an anomaly
@@foteinimantzali8691 also about the emission I don’t really have to worry I’m not anywhere to far and if I think there’s gonna be an emission I’ll wait for the storm or emission to pass I generally like to travel during daylight and generally am not out for more than the day I don’t like the dark in this game man this is my first play through of any stalker game
Sell your red broken guns to Ragman. Sell the rest to the other vendor a couple feet away in Rostock. One of the first things you should do is get the artifact "Weird Water" you gain 40 extra kilograms from this artifact. It will be your number one artifact besides some other legendaries down the road.
Guys in zaton go to the fish farm on the map, there’s a quest which you save three stalkers that are trapped in a building. Find the key and free them if you kill them after they are absolutely loaded with armor, guns, and ammo all full repaired it’s crazy. I’ll make a video about it too and post it later (posted!)
There is scientist in the game and they do buy your artefact. The zone is in west of the map and its called malachite. You can access there at the start of the game through the chemical plant.
They fixed the selling bug instantly. But the game is so shit. I need 70k to repair my gear but I get 30k reward. Just do the console cheat and add money, I can't believe I'm saying this. But in the old games it was worth taking guns and artifacts. At best here you get 30k per unique artifact. In COP you would actually compete with other stalkers to find artifacts and you got almost full price. This game is really unbalanced, just use mods or something for the money. I still gather shit weapons (kharod and dnipro and snipers that should be worth 30-40k) and it's not worth it.

Really helpful tips in it - personally the vendor one alone was huge for me - ty!
Glad it was helpful!
Armor cost to repair too. I had no clue the more expensive armor was burning through my coupons on repairs
Hilka detector can also be found in one of the stashes where you need to place vodka, it is a side quest you get from Slag heap bar
Must be randomized, I just did that mission and didn't get one.
@dakotagianniny1960 you can only loot 2 stashes as third will always be empty as the guy shows up, you probably looted the other two
Dang guess I looted the wrong two, got a dang grenade launcher, gotta double check and make sure I didn't get a hilka too

Anyone know which vendor is best for selling artifacts? In past stalker games you could sell them to scientists for more currency.

I think it works very well you’re just not very good at using your money
