He did have an injured shoulder all year
Literally. Started in training camp too
Played all 17 games. Gave up 5 sacks all year, none in the last 9 games. Lowest percentage of pressures allowed out of all rookie linemen. Needs to improve run blocking. I think most teams would be very happy with his rookie campaign as he played through a shoulder injury all year.

As a jags fan, it seemed like he took some plays off AND his feet definitely aren’t the quickest.
But bum shoulder be damned, he looked real good at times. He had some tough matchups. Notably Chris Jones in week two ate his lunch. He also put TJ Watt on his ass so there’s that lol
