Poison is kicking butt on this tour! They are bringing the goods for sure.
It’s great to see Poison performing as men. Brett Michaels seems to have held up better than most and CC is still alive which is impressive
No doubt. There's a few of these guys that have beat the odds.rock on!
And that seems like a wig hat combo he's wearing but I will never forget seeing him fall off stage at a show we went 2. He was hammered and fell off
@@jamiefredrickson2560 Who CC?
Don’t forget the drummer Rikki Rockett had some health issues…
I agree. Don’t get me wrong, I like to swear, drink, and have a good time as much as anybody. But these guys are not out there dropping F bombs every other word, complaining about things….they are simply rocking 100%. From the videos I’ve seen, there isn’t even any awkward silence between songs, messing around with things (like I’ve seen from other bands on the tour), they are truly hitting the stage and taking advantage of that hour set time and hitting it hard!
I'm saving this, I was at the tour, but this is by far the best review I have seen THANK YOU!
From the clips I've seen on UA-cam, Poison is by far the best band on the tour.
Wow, thanks for posting; you got all the good stuff. CC Deville is a big Eddie Van Halen fan so that's great he's playing ERUPTION (in a stadium where it deserves to be)! - 12:54
I think Def Leppard and Poison are Still worth a go see. They are doing an Amazing Job, Poison what can you say, they still put up a heck of a Show
Poison was awesome! Def Lep's setlist sucked!!! Joan Jett was very good. Motley was kick ass! Not flawless but it was so awesome to see them again. All the guitarists did awesome!
Wife here..Saw them in Atlanta..Did not disappoint!!.. Got DRENCHED when Def Leppard got on stage!
@@one80srocker96 saw the Toronto show yesterday. Tommy and Mick carried Motley, the other two were meh. Def leppard was awesome.
@@one80srocker96 I saw them last night in Indianapolis. Poison is great but no way they outperformed Def Leppard. Maybe it's just that the venue was so much better, indoors, air conditioned, good acoustics, darker.
@@chillwill5080 I just saw the Pittsburgh show. Def Lep was way better that night than in Miami. The whole concert was more improved. Poison is still stealing this tour though. Not saying they are better. But they have been a pleasant surprise and many have said they have been the best act on the tour. I was just glad Def Lep swapped out a couple new songs for Let it Go and Promises. The sound was way better in Pit too. Miami was show number two on the tour. It's come quite a ways in the last couple months.
Brett is certainly the best front man of all these bands by far in my opinion. And couldnt agree more about the stadium.
Agreed..... he brings the energy, the party, the positive vibes and enthusiasm. Poison has impressed me most.
Hell no he isn’t! Joe rocked it, never sounded better! Bret is good but not DL!
@@shannonnorthman2342 Im talking about entertaining the crowd. Not who sings better. And its all personal preference anyway.
@@busterellis7188 as you said, it’s only an opinion. From what I’ve seen Def Leppard is on a whole different level then them all. Either way, it’s refreshing to see that real music still lives and people from that era didn’t forget what it’s was like to enjoy their life!
Hell no...def leppard has their shit together
Poison was on fire 🔥 🤟
I really hate to say this! But I saw Joan Jett forty years ago.... Ouch!! That hurt to admit. lol. She kicked ass that show and from what I just saw she is still kicking ass. She is still looking damm good too.
Poison is kicking everybody's ass.
I love how Nikki looks about 20 years younger than the other guys
Brets energy is at 100. I sure love watching him on these videos. I wish I could've handled the sun and money involved to see these guys in Detroit. I hope after this big tour is done these dudes do a smaller scale arena tour. I've seen all the other bands here but never Poison. On my wish list now.
It was a really great show ! I’m glad the rain held off for the most part! I agree Poison was the best, and Def Leppard’s set list was a slow build.
Thanks so much for this, Kyle! Great job filming and putting it all together. Rock on! 🤘🏼
I was there...absolutely phenomenal, I was stunned to see Motley performing right in front of me. Thanks for your upload, awesome seeing it from your POV
U get it bro 👍
Only good times remain !!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Poison is such a great live band! Brett has a way of connecting to an audience that really invites the fan into their party, not an easy feet to accomplish in a vast arena. They sounded great even on a home recording (granted our phones contain some pretty decent microphones/audio recording tech). Thanks for the video!!!
The dude knows who pays the bills and appreciates it. When you give love, you will get love returned.
I wanted to say THANKYOU for the concert!!! It was great seeing those bands again memories!!!
C.C. covering eruption was awesome!
We definitely chose the "beat the traffic" option. Good coverage of this show. We ranked em a little different but Poison for sure #1 at that one.
Great coverage of the show! I will be seeing them later this year at the SF and Vegas shows. I am pleasantly surprised to see Joan Jett perform so well. And no surprise with Poison, Bret and the band never disappoint!
Excellent video you guys thanks for putting it together. Love it!
I want to see that in Europe!!! Poison sounds awesome!
Poison was the best we were there 🤘🤘🤘
We thought the Poison set was the best of the night as well.
Thanks so much for sharing. This is freakin' awesome 🤘
I want to thank you for being there it was nice to see all four bands again I've been a big Motley Crue fan four decades so thanks again love watching your Channel
Love Poison! Great video capturing the best bits of all of the bands. Thanks. Rocketh on!
Great shooting! Just like I'm there! Thank you for sharing your experience! I still love em all.
Thanks for the video. Love watching these bands have a great time. Takes you back to the good ol days for sure. Have to say I am partial to Poison. My first ever concert and favorite Band 🤟
Out of all the videos posted your has been the best sound cuts edit showing the performance and audio good job.
I think the Poison performance was/is the best in this tour so far.
Yeah, Poison is definitely the best on this tour.
I've only seen second hand footage, but that's what I think too. They just might be the glue here amidst all the glitz.
Well done! Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video!
Holy shit, Sam Kinison is alive and fronting Motley Crue
Duuude! wow joan jett love her man hehehe, bro, Poison still rules amazing, man thanks for take us with you man, i love this video
Thanks for posting.. you saved me tons of money
Thx for the recap, you saved me my time and money!!!!
Great footage , thanks for the share... yeah Poison sounds like what they put out and they do put on a fabulous show.. CC and Bobby rock the sets ... Def Leppard's new music sounds so rad and glad to year they're pushing that music after watching the sirius whisky set we kinda prefer the new way , least they acknowledge that their voices can't do those ranges they once did..
Excellent video, Thanks so much for sharing.
Great footage! Thank you 😊
Poison's performance was great. I enjoyed it very much!!
Thank you for sharing ❤️ A great trip down memory lane
Wow..wow..Poison..Eruption was amazing. You guys were incredible.
Thanks for this awesome and detailed insight. I don't think we will see this show in Europe, so it's great that there are people like you to get an impression. Greetings from Munich, Germany
Great to c poison,, they sure can Rock,, thanks for the Upload,,, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great job documenting this! Looked like everyone was on top of their game. I was worried about Vince a few months back, however, he sounded and looked better than he has in years! Thanks for putting this together
Agreed!! I think the time off for those that tour constantly (DL) really helped as well! Traveled for the show last Sunday! Might hit up this tour again when it comes to the bay in a couple of weeks. 🤘🏻
Joan Jett still killin it !!! 👏🤘
Digging CC's salute to EVH! Thanks for posting!
Met Bret and Bobby in Atlanta a few years back at a charity event. 2 of the most down to Earth nicest dudes you could ever meet. We ate at The Varsity together and it was a blast. GREAT guys! What you see on stage is real and who these guys really are.
I was there. All the way in the bleeds. Had a blast tailgating in lot three! Lmao. The show happened right on time and I’m grateful.
Poison always delivers live, it's crazy how f'n tight they've stayed. Love those boys.
@Black Phillip YESSSS Poison was on top of their game ! And Bret is the greatest front man ever !!! I'd see them every month if I could !!!
@@sherry8894 he's most certainly not the best frontman ever
Thank you for posting. My feeling is I'm there. I love all of the bands! Actually I'm watching from Japan🇯🇵. BTW very nice your モトリークルー T shirt🤘😊
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you!
Vince Neil’s vocals are actually back to early 90’s late 80’s. Doing awesome!
You are kidding, right?
Thank you for sharing this great video.
Tommy Lee, lol. 😂 Good to see these guys, and Joan still rocking. Joe Elliot still has that voice. 🔥impressive.
Thank you for posting. 🤘😎
That was an excellent review and your videos and editing are really great.
AMAZING what you can do..SOBER!! hell yeah!!🤘💥💯
Thanks for showing this…Hope to see them one Day
Thanks for sharing this great footage! Wish i was able to go to this tour, but with this footage i’m a little part of it. Greetz, a fan from The Netherlands. Yes, the land of the klumps 😁🤘
Great video compilation dude! Just saw the show in Philly this past weekend. Outstanding concert! Jett always puts on a great show and everyone knows her setlist. Poison was most fun to watch IMO because Bret Michaels engagement with Philly crowd. I didn’t know prior to the show that Poison is from PA. Def Leppard had tightest music and sound. Motley was just over the top entertainment with a huge stage production. They used some nifty video tricks to hide chubby Vince lol and Mars was definitely showing all of his 71 years of age physically, but he can definitely still play that axe!
I've got tickets for the Boston Ma show in August. I've never been so primed for a concert in my life. I bought the tickets in August of 2021. Paid for VIP tickets at $350 each. Never paid that kind of money for a show, but I sure am glad I did. I absolutely cannot wait............
I live in Italy, I love hard rock glam hair class metal and everything that came out of the US in the Eighties...
I like Def Leppard, but I think that Poison and Crue ruled the scene.
I love you guys. Peace.
Can't beat the classics. Restart my heart and looks to grill are always winners👌
What about Grills Grills Grills.
Ha ha! So true!
So cool you uploaded this, and about Vince, while he's still not where he could be he has improved EXPONENTIALLY from where he was a couple years ago. At least he's trying, good for him.
Cool video summary! Thanks! I'm planning to see the LA show! 😎
Great footage; thanks.
lol, that was awesome, thanks for sharing, loved your Rockmentary ,hopefully they will come to Scotland. UK next year, oh, love your room ,, cheers \m/
I remember how worried I was seeing that pulling in, so glad I didn't give up hope. Amazing show!
Love your recap of the show. I agree from all the footage I've seen that poison is killing it. Wish they would put their differences aside or whatever it is and do another studio album because Hollywierd left alot to be desired in my opinion. Thanks for the video.
Completely agree about Hollyweird and wanting a new studio album.
Go live, Poison is great but no way they are outperforming Def Leppard. LOL
Great video. My wife and I enjoyed it. Your synopsis at the end was right. Poison rocked the show, which we found kinda peculiar, but not surprising. Last time we saw these bands, they were much better, with the exception of Poison. We are very impressed with Poison 2022. Thanks for the upload!
Thank You for your Video! Great Job!
Great footage! They need to extend this tour well in to 2023!
That was a Rock N Roll show for sure! Great stuff! I love this! I was there,BUT I am disabled and this let me see things I couldn't! I'm not wheelchair bound (thank God) but have issues with walking because of 2 strokes. So they wheeled me over to where my seat in disabled section was supposed to be. (it wasn't) I walked to try and find it, no one knew where it was, until I couldn't walk anymore. I can tell you this, the medics are very nice and the little medic room is cold AC and really nice! So there's that. LOL!This is a really good ICYMI for me! Merch line was my daughters job. LOL!
Glad u had a good time And sorry to hear about ur condition ! U are a Trooper and I Salute u 💕💗💕
@@tamathawalden2037 Thank you!💓
Glad you made that for us
Awesome footage look like a great concert I would love to go to it I live in Cleveland and the show is July 14 I am a big Poison fan grew up in the 80s I have seen Poison in 88 and 91 I even order a couple of the stadium tour shirts thank you again keep rocking
Thanks for this. Killer video!
I was at this show and had a blast! all and all i thought they all brought their best!
great edit .. thanks for sharing
I almost forgot.... Thanks for posting !!!!!
Thanks for the awesome footage, Overall all the bands sound pretty good especially Poison. Going to see the Stadium Tour in early September in Edmonton Canada, I cant wait. How long was the whole show in total?
I was at the Orlando concert and the entire show, including set changes, was about 7-7 1/2 hrs.
Miami was about 7 hours. I always devote the entire day to concerts. Park down the road because they weren't opening the lots until about 2 hours prior which is BS. Get there early and walk and listen to the sound checks and warm-ups.
I’m going to the Edmonton show too.
Thank you so much for sharing 😊
Saw this video this morning & instantly subscribed to the channel. Poison sounded great, probably the best of the 4 (based on the audio in this video) and then DL, then MC and JJ. Though that opener (Classless Act?) was pretty damn good.
Up front let me say that I am a huge Def Leppard fan. They were my first concert, with Tesla, November 18th, 1987*. Still one the greatest shows I've ever seen. The problem with a Def Leppard setlist is that, unless they are playing for 3 hours, nobody's going to be happy. They just have too many songs! They could play Pyromania & Hysteria front to back for a 2-hour show that would blow most other bands away. But then you get nothing from their first two albums and nothing after 1987. There's good stuff from Slang (criminally overlooked album and song), Euphoria and X, as well as lots of covers they do very well. I'd love to hear some of the B-sides and Retroactive stuff, like Ring of Fire or Desert Song.
I'd love love love for them to do a couple early Dio tunes for Viv. As big a fan as I am, I know Joe Elliott is no Ronnie James Dio. But Vivian Campbell should be allowed to play Rainbow in the Dark, and what is arguably one of the 10 best guitar solos of all time, at every show for the rest of his life. But as long as they ALWAYS use Bringin' on the Heartbreak to lead into Switch 625, I'm good.
* fun fact - Love Bites (their only #1 single) wasn't originally played on the Hysteria tour. When it was released as a single in the summer of '88 they had to take time to work out an arrangement for the live shows and crowbar it into the setlist.
Dam !!! Take a Breath Bro 😅 u spot on * But put the Pipe Down 👇
SOLID comment. I would LOVE to see Viv bust out “Rainbow”, or, even “Last in Line”on a Leppard tour. 🥹
Great comment! I wish Def Leppard would at least add Die Hard the Hunter (or Desert Song or Paper Sun) to their set list to give it a little harder edge. I am particularly partial to Die Hard because of the great instrumental section in the middle. Agree with the Heartbreak/Switch combo.
Very good video, I'm so glad everybody is alive and well!👍👍
Well Steve Clark's not
Great video. Great synopsis. The show looked like nothin but a good f*ckin time!
This show made me a fan of both Motley Crue and Poison. They're now both amongst my all time favorite bands. I caught the opening show in Atlanta, and I wasn't disappointed. Joan Jett was fantastic, and her set introduced me to her Runaways days (with Cherry Bomb) and several of her biggest hits like Crimson and Clover and Do You Wanna Touch Me. Def Leppard was always one of my favorite bands and was the main band I wanted to see. They were all absolutely fantastic. Def Leppard was my favorite out of them, but the other three are hard to rank. Motley Crue would probably be second considering they surprised me the most. I never hated them, I just never really cared about them, but now, I absolutely love them. The same is true with Poison. Never really cared about them outside of a few of their bigger songs, but now I love them too. Despite Joan Jett's set having next to no energy (because it's a daytime show and technically the first set of the show, because I didn't get to see Classless Act play) her set was brilliant. A very strong show indeed, and I hope I get to see at least one of these bands one more time. Great review man!!
awesome..thanks!
I have to say def leppard is one of the best shows there is!
Thanks for this video!
Amazing review as always
I was at this concert! Mine and daughter Jo's first rock concert ever and it was so awesome!
Great video grew up hurting my neck to theese bands Who would of ever thought these egos could all rock out together awesome last heavy metal show I was at was Monsters of Rock Jack and I forget what year
Nice footage - I enjoyed watching!
Thats cool you guys got see the concert.
👍
Rikki is a fun dude and has a great you tube channel, love seeing a band from this era performing LIVE for 1 (no tracks) and 2nd all original members - 👏 poison
two youtube channels
I love Motley Crue but too many backing tracks going on there.Def Leppard can rock out but choose to many ballads for my taste. Never thought being a fan of these bands since the 80s that Poison would be the best sounding most energetic band of the tour.
Great video , I was there as well and man it was such an amazing show all around
It was a really awesome show!
Amazing, thank you for much for sharing. I was supposed to attend in Orlando but I am active duty and we had training, so I couldn’t attend. Thanks again for sharing!
Thank u sir
Thank you for your service.
Poison is just awesome live!
Thanks for sharing the videos and comments! I'm from Perú and I guess it will be very difficult to the tour to come down here so I realle felt I was there with this!
Thanks for the video. Awesome job. I really miss the 80s. Had a blast, in more than one way.🤣 I really want to see the show but don't want to spend the money for one ticket. I get it's four great bands. My favorite band, is the 🦂 I cannot believe the ticket prices. UGH Probably gonna have to do it. Thanks again
Thanks for sharing!
This was a FANTASTIC breakdown. A friend of mine saw the Miami show and, pretty much had the same opinion as you. His take was similar…
- Classless Act: Solid band with a great “retro” sound.
- Joan Jett and the Blackhearts: Consistent, solid, reliable and good.
- Poison: Apparently slaying EVERYONE else on the tour so far. (Unexpected)
- Mötley Crüe: CONSIDERABLY better than anyone thought. Vince finally took this shit seriously and Mick Mars is STILL the most underrated guitarist of the era.
- Def Leppard: Consistent, VERY autotuned and tons of backing tracks…but entertaining, regardless. Many forget that they were ALWAYS overproduced (even live) for most of their career.
You did a great job editing and filming the highlights and, you now have a new follower!
I think you're wrong about Def Leppard. Maybe some autotune for Joe, but that's it.
