Found Claudia's Ted Talk 2017, started my TSM journey in 2018 and I am SOOOO grateful for both of your voices. As well as Katie as a person/ advocate outside of the initial Ted Talk. My own Journey (over time) has gotten my life truly back without the shame and the alcohol, at the wheel of my life.

it definitely saved mine. 20 years of drinking heavily, uncontrollably, reduced to "normal" drinking after 3 months of TSM and abstinent after a year. It's been over 4 years now and I'm still flabbergasted at the indifference I feel towards alcohol and drinking. I get to go to concerts in bars with no fear of slipping up like my experience in AA taught me. I'm considering donating to the C Three Foundation because I know it's going to help others the way it did me.

All these years, never heard from it until I went to a Doctor who knew about it. That same day I found Claudia.

    Hopefully, coaches don't charge anything.

Coaches are not peer support and they are not volunteers. They are trained professionals. Yes, they get paid. They have to pay for their training and their insurance and their technology. It would be nice to live in a world so privileged that people could work for free, but unfortunately, this world isn't like that.

I went to my GP requested Naltroxone, answer No can do! Waited 2 weeks for a psychiatrist, he said No! However would prescribed a detox facility! He said I was looking for the easy way out by using Naltroxone. Then he said he was recommending daily 6 hours of out patient therapy, which will include random blood test! I said I couldn't do it because I have to take care of my everyday life. He gave me two phone numbers and told me to call them if I wanted help, because he couldn't help me!! What if I was on the ledge ?!
    I still need help.
