I know your question is two years old... but Love Letter is one of my all time favourite games. It plays similarly to coup, but plays smaller groups(2-4).
I would love to hear your thoughts on Coup: Guatemala 1954, which adds a variable deck mechanic to the original Coup. I think it's already available in selective stores and hopefully will get a wider distribution soon.
Thats actually was my most anticipated game of Essen this year so Im very excited to try it out. I will be sure to get a copy and review it When its available near me.
Mascarade, of course and I'd love to see a review of Rumpelstiltskin. I bought it (micro) and played it twice and I'm not sure I'm playing it right. There are absolutely no videos for it.
Great review! I just got my KS copy in the mail, and I'm looking forward to playing it this weekend at PAX. Other quick games I'd recommend: Older games: For Sale, Cloud 9, Can't Stop, Hive. Newer games: Lost Legacy: The Starship, Seven Heroes
I actualy just played both Lost Legacy and Seven Heroes at Gencon *I loved Lost Legacy so much I bought it*, however the four older ones I have played and havent even heard of Cloud 9. I will have to check them out. Thanks!
I have the original Coup. Does Reformation count as a standalone 2-10 players or does it take into account the original game and join the two together?
Question, does all the money spent during the game go to the Treasury Reserve, or just the money spent to change your or another another player's loyalty?
I see. ok, thanks. I was wondering. & I know the Duke isn't supposed to be able to Extorte & take the Treasury Reserve coins, but if challenged is it true they have to prove they aren't the Duke by showing both cards, or do they only show one? Do you know?
First time seeing your channel but if you have not played it, Archaeology: The New Expedition is a really quick game and I like it a lot despite some pore reviews. It's another card game. However, they might have stopped printing it.
Not sure if you already know the game by now : it's a fast paced game max 15 minutes and 2 to 8 players the game is called Tsuro - the path of the dragon
I just got this and the base game from a friend for working on their computer, and I'm actually a little jelly of your copy, cause.... mine actually came in a totally different box, and I like this one better. lol I'm pretty excited to get to try this game out, cause it looks really good, and actually does away with some of the generic issues I have with these hidden roll type games. As always, I send my usual but kissing for a good video. lol (Also, mine didn't come with a number of the things here, kinda makes me wish I'd known about the actual kickstart version of this back in the day to get the extras.)
If you don't like the artwork, you should definitely take a look on the brazilian edition of Coup, by Funbox Jogos. IMHO, it's a piece of art, just love it!
Thanks for the effort, but as a person has seen a few video on the same game, I found your way of speaking pretty annoying. Other than that, just ordinary, I didn’t get a new information. but if you make a video about the strategy, then I would love that
coup is pronounced like cooo by the way
MrScottyTay I know, its a running joke
Bower's Game Corner ahh okay :p haha
Think he was being facetious
No I also misspronounced it in my original Coup Review

Great review, even though I couldn't get passed your pronunciation of 'coup'... ;) definitely getting that expansion!

Thanks for the explanation.
If the if the game stinks with two or three players, then what is the game like when it gets down to two or three players from 6?
Excellent expansion. Already got in a pile of games of this with my group since GenCon. :-)

+Jaeden Haas Pretty sure it does not work as a standalone game
You really need the base game to play the Reformation expansion.
Lol on the 2p thing. I am going to take this to heart and print 4 or more on my next release of What the Food?!
Question, does all the money spent during the game go to the Treasury Reserve, or just the money spent to change your or another another player's loyalty?
Jake Kamps Im trying to think what other Actions Spend money?
Players can also spend money to throw a coup, or attempt to assassinate a player.
OH no that money doesnt go in there
I see. ok, thanks. I was wondering.

I dont necesarily if its adressed in the rule booklet but I would imagine they would have to show both to prove they arent lieing.

I do. Great gateway game to get people into the hobby!

why is the expansion cheaper to buy than the original one??
because you still need to own coup to play the expansion, and like he said it doesn't add alllll that much
How do you play king's canine coop (x-large)
Im not sure, Ive never heard of that variant
Cypher is another small/fast card game. Check that one out if you haven't played it yet. :-)
Ill put that on my list to check out!

+Henrique Veras Maia Veras Thats pretty awesome. Definately prefer that
yep, i got it instead of Indie Board and Cards version.
def worth it
BowersGame Corner Can i Combine The 2 Sets?
2 copies of Coup? Im not sure I imagine you could if you wanted to play like a 14 player game.
Yeah Cause I Own The Original Copy and Them can i mix that with the old one?
Do you mean you have the base game and the expansion? If yes, than yes you can definately combine them
Awesome!
Great review btw! :)
Thanks!
co-up!! seriously!!?!??
He says it correctly in the video. He's being...... funny.
