Challenging USA which is one of the best teams in the world is not an easy job. The Mexican team did quite a good job especially in Set 2. They just need more experience in the international arena.
That's right, most of the Mexican team are still university students, mostly U23
And I hope that the MX win over Bulgaria will give them the confidence and experience they need! Felicidades a Mexico!

I can tell the comeback of Matt Anderson brought so much consistency to the team. In the VNL they did a good job but i think John Speraw knew that Anderson is still the best choice. Team USA has been on the roll. Thrilled much to see how far they can go on the world champs.

las jugadas de usa destacaron en todo el partido entonces son superiores a las de Mexico, por eso hay más de usa que de Mexico
Es interesante ver como ahora hay varios jóvenes dentro de la selección mexicana ganando poco a poco más experiencia jugando contra jugadores con mucha experiencia y aún así no se achican

I'm new to volleyball but I'm assuming that the Mexicans are a young inexperienced team and the USA are the most experienced team in the tournament and it showed. Clinical from USA and good hustle from MEX

playing in the VNL really turn the US into a well-oiled machine. at the beginning of the VNL they were making passing and setting errors left and right. they were already athletic and tall, but by the time they got to the final they were justifiably one of the best teams in the world.

i know mexico is one of the few teams that are not that relevant to people cuz theyre not seen in big championships like this one that often, but seriously? only 6 points of them? and they werent even the best of the points they got. that block to defalco? the spike from aranda and lopez? where are they?
