Python script for a 2d Truss in Abaqus

This video is a small illustration of how a python script can be of use so as to run a simulation in Abaqus. The Workflow is the same with few changes required at the sketch,section assigment, load and the boundary conditions and the rest of the structure remains same.
It takes time to write the script for the first time, but as we perform many cases it would be of great help.
Learning a programming language also will be an added advantage being a core engineer. As every job has a programming language exposure requirement in the job description

Coming to Abaqus you can learn the scripts by going through "Python scripts for Abaqus" by "Gautam Puri" and if you want to dive deep into the scripting you can find the Abaqus manual online or get a ebook of Abaqus/CAE 6.14 version
