She's a true artist. No autotune. No fucking effects. Pure talent. I have watched her interviews on this. She said her voice cracked many a times, because this was the first time she was performing with a live orchestra ensemble. But she went on anyway. Man i love her. She's one of the truest rockstars in the world out there. I wish i met her someday.
That's a funny excuse, blame the orchestra lol did she ever think she doesn't have proper techniques and sings too tense constricting her ability to sing, and just sing freely and comfortably without putting tension in her mouth placement, her throat and moving so stiff?
@@KassandraChandler There's very few vocalists who can sing at the same intensity and with the same emotion like her. I don't think we r qualified enough to comment. The songs that she performs does take a toll on her voice at times. I agree.

Evanescence was my fav band for at least 10 years, but lets face it, Amy is a way better writer than singer. As one who've been twice on Evanescence and twice on WT, can admit that Sharon is 5 levels above

Amy and the band did such an incredible job on this Synthesis project!! I love Evanescence so much and am glad that they released a DVD so that o can forever remember this era.
Brittany Regina their 2004 concert in Paris was phenomenal, it’s on DVD as well. The entire show is also on here & I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!

No disrespect to some obviously very talented musicians, but the best instrument on that stage was Amy's voice.
Her voice is just as good 20yrs ago!! She’s one of the few that can sing live just as good as the sound coming out from the radio!!
When I listen to Amy's voice it feels like someone is squeezing my heart. Then tears well up in my eyes and I cry like a baby, missing the love of my life.

Dude, okay, we already understand that she is the best technically live singer in rock / metal, but art is not just about technique and I, for example, don't even like how her timbre sounds and yes, I am aware of how great she is, but I do not like. I preferred Nightwish with Tarja or Anette. My favorites voices are of Amy Lee and Sharon Den Adel :)
She has, in my opinion, the greatest all around voice voice I have ever heard. Such power, clarity, can hit any note perfectly. Can hit any pitch perfectly.

How can she can combine crying and singing with an undertone of primal screaming? Right now this is my Anthem. Early last month, I had to rehome my 23-year-old Profoundly Autistic son to an Adult Living Home over 350 miles away. I really had no other viable alternatives because everyone (including his Mother, my ex-wife) "quit on him. The song speaks to how I feel a lot of the time. Amy perfectly captures my feelings.
This is one of those songs where you realize just how much effort is put into writing this

I saw their Synthesis tour in Denver..AMAZING!! I was lucky to see them again in November during this crazy Covid time…. Many good memories of those evenings…such talent🙂🎹🎤❣️

I'm not a huge fan of the orchestral addition's to rock bands, but her voice is so powerful, and the songs she writes are so deeply emotional, I have to say the additional pieces, are if anything, not enough. God damn this woman reaches into the core of my soul, and as a musician myself, her talent demands my respect. I believe I am going to have to make a choice here, either never listen to her sing again, or, be sucked into the depths of that hell on earth called love. GOD DAMN IT.

She isn't destroying anything, if something Synthesis live tour has improven her singing skills, she was more focused and delivered the songs greatly, there are some shows were she was flawless, I feel like she was nervous in this concert bc it was being filmed for the dvd bc if you look for shows around the same time, spcially in New Orleans she was truly amazing without any flaw in her voice.
