- An extended version of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie's remix of the classic song Itsumo no Fuukei.
Really wanted to show off my two new Haruhi artbooks and wanted to use each version of Itsumo no Fuukei (the one from the series and the one from the movie) in those videos. However, apparently there was no extended version of the Movie's remix anywhere online. So I had to go and make one myself! Though the regular Itsumo no Fuukei is very classic and nostalgic, I have to say I like the orchestrated Disappearence version more.
I wasn't sure how to tackle the loop, since this song has so many different parts with different styles and tones. I'm sure some of you will be able to notice the points where the loops occur, but I didn't want to remove or mask what makes the song so unique to begin with.
The two artbooks I mentioned can be viewed below.

Autumn and Witner: • Haruhi Suzumiya Illust...
When I first watched the Haruhi series, I was about to enter Junior high. Kyon and Haruhi's monologues really resonated with me back then. It inspired me to live my life in an exciting way, and was probably the franchise that turned me into a bit of an eccentric freak obsessed with escapism through stories. I stopped watching anime right before high school, and lost sight of the dream that I shared with Haruhi - to look for exciting things in life. Now I'm well into university. Although I did make great memories, I still find myself coming back to these stories.
Rewatching Haruhi made me realize that I could've reached out more in my high school years. I should've taken more opportunities, stepped out of my comfort zone, and enjoyed the kind of exciting life that these guys enjoyed in their literature club classroom. But unfortunately, that time's gone now and it's never coming back. If I could redo my junior high and high school years, I'd definitely charge headfirst into youth the same way Haruhi did.
At least it warms my heart to revisit these stories, and I hope some of you can relate. My love for this series is steadfast. The music, writing, and art surrounding this franchise is beautiful and timeless.
I share the same sentiment!
The longer this anime sticks around in my head, the more I realize I wasted much of my high school years feeling content with what I had when I could've had so much more adventures.
Then pandemic happened and I enrolled into a fully online campus, and it didn't go very well, so I dropped out after only a year and decided to take a year long break. It was an awful lonely and depressing year. Rewatching the series during that low moments ignited something in me, that I'll definitely make it right next time.
So now I'm enrolled in a new campus, decided to join theatre club, something completely foreign to me and so out of my comfort zone, so exhausting physically and mentally, but found joy from it ultimately.
Haruhi's "charge headfirst" mentality is such a fun mindset to adopt, honestly. And being caught up in such a novel experience like Kyon did with the SOS brigade is a privilege worth fighting over and cherish about.
If someone asked me who my role model was, I will answer without doubt, Suzumiya Haruhi.
I don't know if it's the music, or the fact that the memory is long gone, but I think I had a lot more fun in high school than I thought at that time. I think I'll make a few calls.
I already accepted my life has peaked. Now I'm just trying to make the most of these last few months before we get split by our replacement for exams, assessments in class. Then eventually work or further education. In fact, this Christmas we celebrated with our year a week earlier than the last day of term. Had a nice meal and got each other gifts. I must say I can't see it getting much better with the covid scenario right now, however, that will hopefully be something us in the events committee can work around. Even if it's not a Prom or dance as usual, even a distanced meet up where we all talk is fun and enjoyable. And until the last day comes when all our classwork is organised and ready for an estimated grade, and until the final minutes of school, I hope everyone can get the most out of their last days here while we can. And God, I've got to get my eyes set on a University or College by February. Better jump before I'm pushed huh. Well, if anyone reads all this, make the most of your current situation. Whether it's at work or education, use the time leisurely whenever you can. Enjoy yourselves, because God knows when the ability to will be taken away and how long it will be before you can enjoy yourself once more.

@@NotAMathGuy oh yeah life is crazy
Just gratuated from high school.
School in general was the most traumatizing thing in my life. I don't want to enter a school ever again.
@@pit2992Wow! it’s Shirou Emiya
Some of these things from 10 years ago never get old. This song, 2010s music, Pokemon HGSS and games in general, hell anything once enjoyed can be enjoyed again if it was from 2000s to 2010. Lovely stroll down nostalgia lane with this and a nice little escape to vibe to by myself. I hope to never forget this, but at the same time if something else comes along that would make me forget it I am kind of excited to know what is so great to do it.
This song makes me both happy and sad. I'm happy because it reminds me of this amazing series and movie and all the memories of watching it. I'm sad because I know where the story goes in the books and we'll probably never see them adapted :(
When the stars align and the chaos of your brain chemistry coincidentally produces a pleasant half hour euphoria where you can experience reality untainted by ambition, anxiety, or desire.
very well put!
Yes... One of the songs that could describe 'beauty' as a song.

Thank you for this! I hope you could make an extended verison of the orchestra verison that appears at the end of the movie! Haven't been able to find an extended verison of that song either.

西宮北高...(..)
I'm shocked by all the comments remembering a great time in highschool. My mental health was on a decline from elementary all the way to the end of highschool. I struggled to make it to the end of it. Felt like being stuck in jail if I could guess what that is like. Constant anxiety and tedium. I learned a bit about myself in that time though. Growing as a person is hard when you're stuck in a system like that. When I got out I realized why I struggled so much pretty quickly. perfectionism is a bitch. this is a great soundtrack for reading farmland saga manga
♡~
what's the point of all this if you don't have anyone
Does Haruhi know anyone in the beginning of the series? Nope, she dragged everyone into the brigade.
We all gotta start somewhere bro.
