We sailed past the orion when it was being test recovered as shown here, they kept diverting us further and further north of them until we spoke up and they let us sail through.

Yes! That is an LPD. I'm currently on LPD 29, being finished. I read our ship would assist on space x capsule removals as well as other needs. It is insane the amount of work and manpower it takes to operate these vessels. But seeing it complete and our soldiers using them makes me feel proud!
