A close up photo of each side of your work when completed sure would've been a nice addition. Your design carved in just below the snap and coated to resist the dye... would've been a good thing to show us what it is. Nice work though, well done. Love the music too.
For basic projects I go to Tandy Leather. If I have a request for something higher end or an exotic leather there are a few good online shops like Hermann Oak. Feel free to email me questions on your own projects... I'd love to help if I can and thanks for watching!
I hope Doc (Dave) is still liking the sheath you made him, like the work you did in this video, Mike. Also like the heavy duty belt clip you've added to the sheath as well. Outstanding job! You can take that as a quote from a fellow ham as well! 73's, KE7OUR
nice case... where do you get leather from? i'm here in nc. i want to made some goods of my own. like a rifle scabbard "fur on" for my motorcycle also a ccw holster. maybe do a kydex leather wrapping. i don't know i haven't worked with leather yet. but i will soon when my parents slaughter the next cow i will do a smoke tanned hide. till then i would like to do a few smaller projects. well smaller in comparison. still it will be larger than the leatherman case.
That was absolutely fascinating!
Thank you for such a cool sheath. It was fun watching it be made.
By the way, very cool leather working bench!
I added a link to this video on my video. Thanks again!
