We made a BIG move this year! We picked up, sold everything we owned and moved to Kenya. While we’ve been sharing our experience living here, we’ve never said “WHY” we left America.
If you’re curious to know the answer this video is for you.
We hope it answers your questions.
In addition, we’re excited to help you and your group as you plan your visit and relocation to Kenya. To get in touch, you can schedule a consultation through this link: calendly.com/germaineandsaidah/30min
We’d love to learn more about your specific needs, especially for those relocating, and tailor a personalized roadmap to make the transition smooth and stress-free. Looking forward to hearing from you!
    Warmly,
    Germaine & Saidah

Hey fam, thanks for your insight/perspective living in Kenya.
By the way, if you're interested in exploring more when it comes to your grocery shopping, check out the farmers market in Karen and langata. There are 2 other places within the city, but they're not open throughout the week. But the 1st and 2nd options listed above should be good enough.
Plenty of organic foods and restaurants in one big place.
      Thank me later.
      God bless.

You should get a pressure or slow cooker for cooking beef and goat meat. I moved to Jamaica and the meat is similar to Kenyan meat and that's how I cook those meats.
These meats are tough because the cattle and goats are grass and pasture fed. It's the kind of meat you have to pay a lot of money for at the most expensive grocery stores in the US.

Your comment speaks to my heart. It feels like GOD wants me to come to Kenya after years of searching for which country may be best. After weighing so many factors, Kenya for spiritual etc reasons came to the top of my choices. Others were Rwanda, Uganda, SA, Namibia, Tanzania. I’m new at this and may need help figuring out a few details. The US is changing rapidly and it’s very concerning to me. GOD is guiding me I feel to come and bring love and peace and my talents with me. I do have my two huskies who are my fur babies and I hope I can bring them if coming one day to Kenya can happen somehow. I’ve moved and traveled in the past but never to Africa and it’s my dream. I knew a Kenyan years ago and she was such a kind person and wanted to show me Kenya but we somehow lost touch. She told me back then how much I would love it and I wished I had not been so caught up working in corporate America and had made more time to get off the hamster wheel to visit. I also want to explore my roots further and am waiting for my African DNA results back soon to narrow it down hopefully. One report said I shared mitochondrial DNA with Nelson Mandela and also pointed me to East Africa and some parts of West Africa also. Will see soon. I’m working on selling one of my cars and many of my things and will keep praying about it. Wishing everyone blessings, peace and Divine protection. ❤

I'm Kenyan living in US and definitely will go back after retirement. My advice is don't sell your property instead rent it. The income will be more than enough to live like a rich guys in Kenya. Reason because you can't make good living their by being employed. You either go and invest in real estate or anything of that nature plus you will be receiving rent from your property in US. Otherwise you're most welcome to our country and so long as you appreciate diversity of African culture you'll have wonderful time and excellent experience of tropical weather.
