It never ceases to amaze me that one man has the ability to completely restore a car to that level; it would certainly give me peace of mind in purchasing or refurbishing an Alfa from Italia Autos.
4 stud Milanos !!...... Rare as hens teeth........I bought the last brand new set in the UK from Autodelta in 2000 for my widebody Alfa 155 V6.......Best Alfa alloys ever !
Absolutely stunning now. The wheels and body kit really complement the car. I hope the owner gets many years of enjoyment from it. Keep the videos coming as the content in very interesting.
Normally I don't like Proteo. normally I don't like non standard wheels. But that just works. I love it, and another great video from a man who makes it all look easy 😃
Stunning! You’re making me wish I never sold my three including my Proteo! Still got those headlamps mate, plus a rad, rad support, optional wood gearknob/handbrake handle (new old stock), condenser and some other bits
those alloys are 😎 think i'd have them in shadow chrome though. i'd have that yellow one off you in a heartbeat, if i had somewhere to keep it. great job 👍
Great vid , goes to show how much effort and time is required to get this sort of thing done . You sounded a touch knackered at times lol Great job all round
I personally would have welded in the pits in that pockmarked section to set my mind to rest. That structure is part of the front impact crumple zone and you never know if somebody might one day test it. Everything else gets a big swolen thumbs up though!
Nice job Neil, the owner must really love it to have you spend so much time on it. I've put mine under cover now for winter to hopefully finish next year. I was going to replace the alternator on mine too just so I don't have to do it when it fails. With engine in, do you reckon it can be done from below? From above looks like a nightmare with inlet manifold to remove etc...
just got water on the passenger side on my mito, just on the floor. Is it the drain hole? Were is the drain hole. Some said it could be the ac but i cant find the ac location??? Need help🙈
Neil, could you please tell us what sort of paint you used for the red lettering on the engine cover, and how you painted the letters so beautifully. It's high-temp paint, obviously. Looking forward to fully refurbishing my TS's cover, does need it, thanks a lot in advance! Harry
Hello! First of all, thanks for all the detailed videos about service and restoration. (The coupe ones is very helpfull for me) Are you the man to ask for advice regarding Fiat coupe spare parts? I am looking for a new or used sunroof for a Coupe, the frame under the glass is very rusty. Do you know of any places or someone that could possibly have this in stock? - Marc - Denmark -
Great job as usual.Do you have the color code? I have a 146 1.6 boxer ,with the same color and want to repaint the rear bumber ,but do not have the sticker with color code in any place of the vehicle.Keep up withe the good work.
Did you do anything with the plastic wheel arches? Did you just clean them or did you also apply any underseal spray to them? Also, is the air intake hose the same as my Phase 2 (June 1999) Twin Spark 146, taking air from the exact same point just behind the bumper, or does it take air form another spot? Many thanks in advance - really love your work, Harry
@dean warren The Milano alloys shown here were available for most of the Alfa models at the time as well - 145 146 155 and GTV/916 Spider. They're made by Zender and are in the accessories brochure for the time.
@@ItaliaAutos These Milano alloys made by Zender were also available for the 145. Alfa Romeo part number 60877823. The same design was available for the 146, 155, and GTV/916 Spider. I have the original Alfa Romeo Zender accessories brochure.
@@ItaliaAutos I have a Spider converyable which I am fiddling with, was a repairable right off. $1000 it cost me. Now roadworthy and going. $2000 later. Have a tame Alfa mechanic who helped with the Cam belt. Rear shocks are next, recommendations ?? then wheel and steering alignment. Great car love it.

Such a satisfying video. I still can not believe what UK weather does to Alfas. I miss my 146 TI, so many memories.
You and me both!
I couldn't hope to get that much done in four months!
Astonishing work Neil, car looks perfect! The owner must be thrilled.
Thanks 👍

I love those wheels , I’ve seen them on a 75 and they’re gorgeous.
Thanks
Are those wheels 4x98 or 4x100 or something else as they are stunning
@@dalepinney5001 have a look online for Zender Milano . You should get the info you need

Wow it looks superb! Takes me back to the mid 90s. I used to see one exactly like this every day on my way to work.
From a dusty and rusty bay to shiny and recoated. Top!

Amazing work! Maybe do a buyers guide on the 145/146? My grand dad drives one and he's going to pass it on to me when i get my drivers license.

Nice! I guess I would have repainted that strut bar to match the car while it was out!
yep i thought of that but after what the customers had to spend i dont blame him for it staying as it is. :-)
