Leaf spring production process and bolt production line

Let's see how leaf spring are produced.
At this stage, the long steel sheets is cut into precise segments using a CNC machine, then they are drilled holes. Normally, the spring leaf production process consists of 3 main stages: 1. Preparing leaves; 2. including Bending - heat treatment - shot peening; finally Assembling - presetting - surface treatment. The long leaves are heated in the center and punched in the center. All of them are neatly lined up waiting to be moved to the next production step. Leaves for multi-leaf springs are prepared by cutting and stamping whilst parabolic leaves are hot rolled in a purpose-made rolling machine. The ends of the main leaf are heated and the eyes are then hot rolled.
Quenching : Hot bent leaves kept in tray and quenched in oil bath to get their hardest state. The temperature of the oil here is about 200 degrees Celsius, and should not exceed 280 degrees Celsius.
Tempering: This heat treatment process is used to increase toughness. Tempering process involves heating of leaves between 540 and 680℃ and then cooling them using water.
The leaves are assembled together into a complete leaf spring, and ready for the elasticity test step.
The multi leaf surfaces are protected against corrosion by painting of the outer surfaces, and by lubrication between each leaf. Parabolic leaves are individually painted on all surfaces.
The ends of the main leaf are heated and the eyes are then hot rolled. The leaves are heated and individually bent to the correct arc radius and, whilst still clamped between the bending tool.
