Thank you for this lovely video. I watched Camilla Crafts version and loved hers too but it was lovely to see a totally different take on this lovely project. Will definately have a shot at both styles. I learned something new with the vellum and I love vellum too. I live in a very small town west of Brisbane in Australia and we have a new craft store and she asked me to take a class on junk journalling. That's what I did last Saturday. It was a first time for me and I must say I was very nervous and not very confident. I had 6 very patient and lovely students and they all went home with a small single signature journal. All so very different to each others, all showing totally different styles and personalities. I was thrilled with the positive feedback I got and now they want me to teach them some more advanced items. We did basic pockets a tag and journal cards, the cover with fabric and sewed it all together wiht 3 hole pamphlet stitch and made a danggle off the spine. All in 3 hours. Loads of fun. 💖
We had Easter on Saturday. Too much food. Lots of noise and laughter. We only have two little ones, two boy cousins who are wild whenever they get together. Good times.
I love watching you work and have gotten soooo many great ideas from you. I spent the last weekend and will the weekend coming up with my community theatre group in a production of a George Gershwin and Cole Porter music. Thank you so much for your wonderful ideas. Dayle
I’m so glad that Julie from Camelia crafts recommended coming over to see you! I appreciate that you don’t assume we’re all experts & that you give nice up-close views of the pieces you’ve made! I haven’t ever seen someone crease the vellum & ink along the edge to give it more aging, that’s brilliant! These are very nice little clusters, & fascinating that they started off on a white index card! Thank you so much! Erica❤
We had a storm, and I mean a storm, with a tornado 🌪️ attached. A lot of houses had their roofs ripped off, trees tossed around like matchsticks and fences have just disappeared. That was on Easter Monday. Today, Tuesday is fine and sunny with a little bit of cloud. More rain on the way. Love these bits and pieces clusters. 👍🌹😘. They are absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
My husband and I went to a beautiful church service and saw many friends whom we haven't seen since my husband got ill and we haven't been able to go to church. My husband was having a very good day. 3 granddaughters came over to help me get ready for the family to come. 2 of those girls had come over the previous day to help me clean. All of our children, most of our grandchildren and great-grandchildren joined us for a day of prayer, fun, and food. It was a wonderful day, much like yours!
I went to church for Easter but otherwise have been home babying shoulder from surgery. Am so thankful for your videos and many others to keep me from going bonkers lol…. Arm in sling so can’t craft and sure makes for long days…lol…but is getting better and I can do it, thanks to so many…
Clusters are fun to make. I never have a very messy desk with supplies all over it to choose from because I to put everything away after a couple hours of crafting. I craft at my dining room table so have to clear it off frequently. Went to neighbors for brunch, watched kids collect eggs. Easter bunny showed up. Easter Bunnies always look so odd 😅. Had mini celebration for my son who was born on Easter many yrs ago. Wanted to go to church service in the a m but couldn't make it. It was beautiful weather and the mockingbirds have been singing all week. We had brunch on the patio. It was nice. Missed my other son as he is living out of state right now. Lost your voice partially. Don't know what happened. ❤️🙏🐣
Oh Ms. E. How I wish I could make my scraps look as adorable as yours look when you put them into layered clusters. I really do try but when I am finished they still look like a pile of scraps that I spent 30 minutes gluing together into something unrecognizable. You just have that layering gene that I don't have. My professional art training comes out in me and won't let me just place them out of perfect balance and the randomness is part of what makes your collage clusters so darn cute! So, I'll keep watching from Texas and hoping that one day I will have an epiphany and create a scrappy piece that doesn't look like I made it with scraps. Love you much. Sending a big hug.
On Friday I was at a joint 50 and 80 birthday party, then I took it easy on Saturday. On Sunday I celebrated my granddaughter´s 18th birthday, so it was a quiet day yesterday too.
We watched half of Ten Commandments Saturday evening. Sunday we went to church. Had an amazing service. Came home and ate a breakfast casserole. Took a nap. Got up and ate ham, asparagus and sweet potatoes. Then watched the rest of Ten Commandments and ate some coconut cake. I had bought a Dolly Parton cake mix. It was delicious. I made home made cream cheese frosting. We had a nice quiet weekend. We had lots of company for Thanksgiving and Christmas. So it was nice just the two of us for Easter. ❤
Saturday I helped run a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt my company sponsored. Sunday I spent trying to recover from sun rash and dehydration. I got some fussy cutting done, just happen to be your labels and mason jars. Enjoyed dinner with the Hubster and Man Child #3 along with 3 drooling dogs. Hubster baked a delicious apple cake in the smoker.
I like these. They are different from Melinas, and I like hers too. I had my kids and grandkids over yesterday, and we ate too much and just hung out socializing. I felt sad after everyone left. They all have busy lives, so I don't see them as often as I would like, but yesterday was fun. 🙂❤️
I went to my oldest son's house and spent the day with both my sons, daughter -in-law and granddaughters. We had lot's of good food, conversation and alot of laughter. So good for the soul 🙂
Those are beautiful! On Easter my mom, brother and sister in law and my husband and I went to a continental breakfast at church before the service, then came to our house for a simple lunch of salad, chicken tenders and fresh berries with homemade coconut whipped cream and banana bread for dessert. Then we watched The Masters golf tournament. It was a lovely day.
I love watching your videos! Everything you create is so aesthetic and seemingly perfect. Your voice is always so calm and sounds familiar as if you are one of my aunts from Georgia (even though I think you're in AL). ! I always feel at home on your channel.
We had a relaxing weekend. God bless you and your family. I love your new heverier inking! I agree that it adds something special to your projects. Thanks for explaining the styles of journals. God bless you and your family!!!!!
Thank you for another great video! I love your instructional style. For Easter we spent the day with family to include some of my sisters and their families, my son and daughter-in-law and my grandkids. We had the annual water balloon fight, ate good food, and spent a nice relaxing day visiting. My sister has a huge yard with plenty of space for an epic egg hunt and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. Just a perfect day.
I watched The Ten Commandments too. My kids came over. Had grandkids and great grand kids. We had Ham with the trimmings. , My daughter printed color pages and some of them colored. We just had lots of fun. Love the clusters.
Love your clusters! I had a nice Easter. We went to church then had a nice ham dinner at our house ...had daughter and son in law and their daughter and fiancee. So glad you had a nice day too.
We had family over for dinner ! Egg hunt and the little guys got kites so that was fun! The weather was perfect ! Glad you had a nice day! I absolutely love those clusters!! Thank you for sharing ❤
Well... Past week it's been rough on us. My baby first birthday was yesterday (Easter) and we had to take her to the urgent clinic with a severe rash that would not go away. Today is my bday( Monday) and we had to be at Drs office and the weather was awful both days so we didn't do anything at all. But, all my struggles won't stop me from being grateful to God for giving us another year of life. I'm beyond grateful even though this past year has been rough for me I have a new blessing in my life and we get to celebrate life together one day after the other. ❤ Sending you hugs Mrs. E🫂🙏🏾❤️
So sorry your baby was sick. Just take all those extra snuggles you can get, they grow up way to fast. Blessings to you and healing prayers for your baby. E
Spent weekend renovatng my craft room with stuff from my TEMU haul [seriously addicted!] It's coming along and hopefully light at the end of the tunnel so I can start using these awesome tutorials!! ~Rita
Great video sweetie 🥰. Question: How & where do I order your digitals? I'm having a hard time getting your shop to come up. Thx Ginger & Miss Sadie 😊.🐶
Very pretty. Melina was very mean today. She teased us all about the amazing day y'all had for Easter and all the scrumptious food. Who could craft when we were all starving. 😂😂😂 Just kidding about her being mean. Blessings and hugs 🤗
I’ve decided that cleaning my workspace is hazardous to my health! When I clean I lose, for some reason I never find it again! Better to stack it in a corner and go from there! Luv what you show us, such a talented lady!
I love these types of videos you guys put up. I'm pretty good at the actual journal making but not as confident with using all the scraps, printables and fussy cuts I generate. 😊 Thank you. As for Easter, we went to Good Friday and Easter services. On between, I baked and cooked up a storm. Dinner featured roast leg of lamb, home-baked rolls and my first hummingbird cake. All turned out delicious, and no kitchen disasters or meltdowns on my part. 😂 It's just myself, my husband and my two boys, but I like to make a bit if a fuss at holidays anyway. Just because we are a smaller family doesn't mean holidays can't be special. I'm like you, I do love to hear what folks do. I guess that makes us nosy. Hopefully, also good friends. Love ya to bits, girl! xoxo
Miss Edith, can you please show all the ways you can use clusters in your journals? They are so much fun to make, but I ended up with a ton of them and no clue what to do with all of them! Thanks❤
We lost our Friend Jim at 1:30am Easter Sunday. I just wanted to thank all of you for praying for him & the Family. I can’t imagine how hard it was for his oldest Daughter Jessie yesterday. She's dealing w/losing her Dad & yet, there’s a little boy expecting The Easter Bunny & not really understanding what else is going on…. 😢 Anyway, I did want to Thank You all. Take Care.
You asked about what we did Easter?! Well my husband came down with Covid last week and I was doing ok until Sunday. Soooo I felt well enough to craft. lol! We stayed home and kept our germs to ourselves. We still have two feet of snow but it is slowly melting. Thank goodness! I love these clusters! Something easy to make for a sicky! Smile*
They clusters are beautiful. I discovered on Sunday morning that my water heater was leaking. I ended up shutting off the water and called a plumber. He was here early this morning and was able to fix it. He told me that it was getting old and I may have to replace it. $2300 to replace! I just stayed home the entire weekend. A friend had surgery on her shoulder and I went to her house, which sets on a lake, and helped her out. I made sure she had an Easter basket for her grandson and eggs to hide for him.
My daughter and son in law and my 3 grandkids came to my home. My daughter cooked dinner and cleaned up everything. So I got to relax. I’m not in the best of health. My daughter Sunday Angel took over the holidays dinners for me. We had my older brother and his son up for Easter dinner. So we had a great time. I too live by myself. Hi there 😊. I’m new to the channel and sitting watching your next video as I type! (I’m weird like that 😂). Was going to ask who Melina was but you’ve just told me!! Anyhoo, I love your accent. Your work is amazing too. I’m new to scrapbooking and junk journals so your videos are a great source of ideas and inspiration. Keep up the good work and thank you. Love from “Sunny” Scotland 😊 Oh you mentioned stitching on your projects, silly question but what kind of stitching do you do? I’ll have a look and see if you have any videos related to this! TY ❤️ 2nd edit!!! 😂. Did not know what clusters were thank you showing me. Xx
I left home Thursday night I live in Iowa and I drove clear to Las Vegas did not stop to sleep. Picked up my husband and we drove straight back home to Iowa did not stop to sleep. It was a long tiring Drive
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS yeah I don't know how I did it I just kept drinking my pop and driving. Usually we switch off on driving but since I was the only one going out there to pick him up I had to drive all by myself. My 63 year old body is definitely telling me not to do it again LOL
Is there a live chat when you make your videos? Can it show for people like me that have to just watch the replay? I'm praying for you, I know you have a rough time. May God bless you. I enjoy your videos.

They clusters are beautiful. I discovered on Sunday morning that my water heater was leaking. I ended up shutting off the water and called a plumber. He was here early this morning and was able to fix it. He told me that it was getting old and I may have to replace it. $2300 to replace!
