Even when it's not Wanya's part to sing, he's in the background singing. He loves singing with all his heart. I wish him and Brandy reunite to sing Brokenhearted live!
I've known that he was the greatest since the first time I heard him sing live in person way back in 95. It was at the then Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim. He hit a note and "It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday" that was incredible.. I have not heard him perform that note since
He's absolutely one of the best. The strength, the texture, the variety, the range. Wanya is definitely up there with the best. It's a shame we don't appreciate our greats until they gone.
If you hear him live in person you may change. For me he is far better live and when you're in the venue with them. He sang.once without any mics , totally acapella and I realised that he is even better than I had ever thought.
Yeah vocally the best band ever in my opinion. Shame they lost Mike as he was perfect with them and missed in my opinion. Shame about his health. And wayna for me is the best vocalist by far I've ever heard live. And the songs they sing are literally perfect as they never date. I've seen them every time they've been over to the uk. Just hope they return again here.
Is nobody gonna mention how cold Wanya's brothers high note was at the ending when they collaborated before the ending of the song?? And Wanya, in my opinion, does toooo much riffing. I like straight vibrado sometimes.
Wanya can sing like hell and holds notes. Not easy for men to do. So yes it is rare to hit high notes. Another one was the late Luther Vandross… another is Kevon Edmonds (Babyface’s young brother). Howard Hewitt beautiful falsetto ever. Aaron Neville too, the way his voice vibrates when he sings is just great to listen to, no comparison. And Demail Burke of the group A Few Good Men that featured on the Braxton’s song (high falsetto incredible and the vibrating voice). For Klymaxx it was the mighty Howard Hewitt that featured sung high falsetto incredibly. R. Kelly too is a genius unfortunate what has come to light. These guys are all gifted in this trade.
May God's hand rest mightily upon you, keep you and your family safe, and bring so much happiness into your life in the New Year in Jesus Name! I'm excited about 2023!
@@CharlieXFBA You certainly don't know what hate is. Great vocalist? Yes. Best vocalists ever? Absolutely not. Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway. Smokey Robinson. Mahalia Jackson, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle. Perhaps one of these as best ever.
@@Tom-PlaylistKing-Smith Smokey Robinson was a better songwriter than he was a singer. He had a great falsetto but as far as range, he was limited. Wanya is a better vocalist than Smokey. Just because you name these older artists doesn't mean that they're better. I hate when people do that. Also, you named a very small percentage of singers. If you were to take ALL the singers who have ever laced a track, Wanya would be amongst the best. He would literally be in the top .5%.
@@CharlieXFBA The operative word is "best ever". Time has no limit when you say, "best ever". Wanya isn't the "best ever", not even close.
