Go to settings tap 3 to 4 times on the Android version and then you open the developer mode. In the developer mode enable usb debugging function. Follow the video carefully it's explained everything.

For those who are still struggling in connecting. Sometimes a low charging usb cable does the trick or a usb cable that comes with a 22.5 watts charger. The fast charging usb cables dont seem to work with android auto.

Thanks for your query. It is only possible if your head unit supports that otherwise you need to install wireless adapter to make wireless work.

Thanks for your query. Have you tried with another phone. We have 3 phones at our home. But one phone faced a similar one like your problem . When checked it was found the usb port of that phone was faulty. After changing the port there is no longer a problem.
