The Chinese really stepped up.. like 10 years ago they were making Russian knock off cars that crumpled worse than soda cans and look at them now

@@tommys1678 GM? Most new GM cars aced the small overlap.. The Chevrolet Cruze "was" the safest car ever tested in EuroNCAP for a while... It was the first car to get full marks for the frontal overlap

Ujw Gaming yeah I said GM. I haven’t seen any 2019+ do poorly in the IIHS small overlap test.. just because a manufacturer “aced” a test doesn’t mean anything lol ..let’s go back about 10 years to when IIHS was doing bumper tests and the Saturn vue did very poorly, GM was like well let’s add a little piece of steel directly in the spot they test in and all of a sudden did very well until the IIHS moved the Saturn two inches it missed the newly added piece and crumpled just like before. We won’t get into all the recall scandals GM has had either. That’s one company I wouldn’t mind just going away all together they don’t deserve another bail out or any of the bail outs they received in the first place. I’m glad Daewoo manufactured a crash test worthy vehicle for GM.. they couldn’t do it on their own that’s for sure.

@@tommys1678 Actually this FAW is very bad among Chinese brands. Its starting price is as low as 12,000 USD, catering relatively low-income consumers. Other Chinese cars that are not so cheap (like 20,000 to 30,000 USD) including Lynk Co 01, BYD Tang and Roewe RX5 MAX are doing just great. I'm sure they can earn a 5-star in ENCAP.
