I was there!
I was there too, I might have already said that.
Terrific to see that again, I was there too. A small correctiin though, if I may. The 25th August live broadcast was entitled Morning Worship and covered the Sunday communion in its entirety. Having actually been there I nevet saw that programme, and would still love to! The Songs of Praise as you rightly say uses some of this alongside other footage. Steve Taylor's set was also filmed as I recall. All the best- Jim
THAT COMMUNION SUNDAY MORNING WAS SOMETHING ELSE..
It was! I wonder if they still do it? @@shaunclark425
I was there the year after but not 1985! I've never seen this particular episode before, thanks for posting!
First rate to see this again, a truly young Harry was there :-)
I too was there.... :)
thanks for posting this. they have cancelled this show on abc Australia. they wont even show catch up episodes so I praise the Lord for you posting this especially cos it broadcast when I was 2 so theres no way I would have seen it otherwise
WHY did they cancel it in Australia?
Does anyone know when it stopped being a Christian Festival?
In 2023, if you stand up for Christianity, you can get your bank account cancelled. Yet in 1985, we were still a proud christian nation, and Greenbelt was a Christian festival.
I was there somewhere! Shame GB has decided to follow the far left regressive pathway these days, it was far more balanced back then.
