Plant a camera in the attic a motion activated hunting camera would do the trick pretty inexpensively

@@ArlanKels racoons and other small animals sound alot different from a person. And due to their smaller size they'd move alot faster. My great gma had some issues one winter bc a panel was worn and they were getting in. The attic had a staircase in the garage so we actually caught a racoon. They don't sound like people
well the problem with that is that you'd need a lighting setup in the attic and if someone was actively going up there i'm sure a bigass light set up would scare them off.

I'm betting it's raccoons or something. At 8:50, when they find the worklight he mentions fumigation notices. That leads me to suspect the light and cigarette were left behind by contractors. That second hole where it drops down to another crawlspace looks too narrow for a person. It could, however, be a possible entry point.
If you want to investigate further on your own (without a professional) I would recommend getting thick arm sleeves and work gloves. I understand it's hot up there, but rabies is not fun.
You also might want to keep a logbook of when you hear sounds and which rooms it is above. (best case scenario, it's a stray cat)

I worked in old german almost pre-war buldings (with insulation technique of just leaving 1m wide space beetwen outside wall and inside wall and the thing you could find inside were bizzare from shells to like modern beer cans, animal nests, once even a bike wheel.
Cigg butts are the most common thing - people smoke them doing maintance/anything and they just leave them up there together with a lot of other trash.
And someone walking up there - could have been animal. Made stepping sound by jumping over the beams

just recently I've been noticing how my furniture expands and contracts with pressure changes. I've been keeping tabs on how the wind shifts during early morning ours, and that coincides with pockets of air around me being sucked and blown around, changing the atmospheric pressure. Since the air _inside_ the wardrobe is trapped, it expands and makes it creak.
I can often tell what time it is just by feeling the air, and hearing the furniture creak.
just add a small vent to let air through, and get rid of any air pockets.

The most likely scenario#1 is that before renovation there were some old pipes/cables running through there. Builders simply didnt patch the hole
The most likely scenario#2 theres something behind that had to be accesed at some point and the easiest way was just to cut a hole there.
Then what could've caused the noise? What if someones just really good at covering their tracks?

Yeah, construction worker don't even bother with their trash... Right before my family moved in our current house, some of the kitchen's and the toilets' walls and piping had to be redone. A few years later we got a slug invasion, that seemed to come from the parts that had been worked on, we found out that it was all because the workers had left a dozen of half-empty beer (slugs are attracted to beer) INSIDE the walls and behind some pipes...
Ohhhh so you're saying the sounds are from the ghosts of whoever worked there!
But they said the place was built in the 1920's... Which means filtered cigarettes didn't exist.

This is, to date, my favorite Corridor Crew video ever. Everything about this one is amazing, from Nick's creepy-ass (definitely) haunted apartment and the spooky follow up with the footage at the end, to Sam's interesting and actually helpful film segment, to an iconic Brett cameo (what's up, son), to my favorite Jake sponsor segment ever (the avatar was hilarious, especially the T-pose when the mic got weird, and it fit the the creepy video vibe). This video is peak Corridor Crew and is legit art.

My friend had a deck of cards in the middle off his night stand (so it couldnt fall off) all windows were shut in the house because it was winter and he told me before his house was haunted anyways we were playing games when the cards literally jumped off the table and went everywhere and we were picking them up so as a joke I said "yo this ghost is a dick" and then the door opened i think i was about to have a heart attack so i said "oh sorry" and then the rest of the night was ok but then we walked out of his room into his living room because we were gonna make a pillow fort (yes were 15 and we still did this) and as we walked out of the room the door slammed shut (not loudly but we heard it) so we ran to the couch and we built it and started joking about making the seabear circle from spongebob... and that wraps up my ghost story
