Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Scale
Mixing Spoon
Pot (for double boiler)
Water
Pan (lined with wax paper)
Step 1: Prepare your molds. You will need the 3 x 4.5 inch round pillar mold. Place a wick through the hole in the bottom of each of the molds. Then, you can place a plug in the bottom of the mold. Alternatively, you can use hot glue to completely seal the hole.
Step 2: Now, weigh out and melt 475 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax. Melt the wax using a double boiler to 195F.
Step 3: Once melted, allow the temperature to drop to 185F. Add 47 grams of the Paris le Fleur Fragrance Oil. Stir.
Step 4: At 175F pour the wax. You will want to fill the mold ¾ of the way. Allow the wax to set up at room temperature. Poke relief holes.
Step 5: Melt the remaining wax to 165F. Then, fill the remainder of the mold. Allow the candle to set up. Remove the candle from the mold.
Step 6: Fill a pouring pot about halfway full with water.
Step 7: Add a couple drops of each color of the liquid candle dye. Using a toothpick, swirl until you are happy with the colors.
Step 8: Dip the candle in the water. Place it on the pan to dry. The dry time will depend on the amount of colorant on the candle. Ours took about 5 days.
Once cured, your candle is ready to use! Enjoy!

great question-Janette🌺
What is the size of the tin candle container you used and the size of wick please? Thank you
Which tin are you wanting to use? -Melissa NG
@@Naturesgardencandles The one in this video, but I'm thinking to purchase both sizes and the wicks that work with both sizes
Perfect! Here is the link to our round Pillar Molds: www.naturesgardencandles.com/round-pillar-candle-molds Both have a diameter of 3 inches, so I would recommend our 7” Extra Large (62-52-18) zinc wick. However, there are other wicks that will work with a 3 inch diameter. Here is a link to our wick chart: www.naturesgardencandles.com/mas_assets/media/pdf/906.pdf
@@Naturesgardencandles Thank you!
You're very welcome! 😊
Hi! Would this work if I use a soy only pillar and votive wax rather than a parasoy wax?
Hello Rani! We cannot say for sure that it will look exactly like ours, as we have not tested this. However, as long as it is a wax specifically for pillar and votive candles, then you should be able to achieve a similar effect. - Lima NG
@@Naturesgardencandles thank you so much! Only one way to find out.. test some of the pillar candles I've already made!
Make sure you let us see the results. Good Luck. Keep Creating and Inspiring-Janette 🌺
