Understanding the physics of a motorcycle or car is the biggest advantage you can have. Being able to use the physics to produce grip is a feeling which is very hard to teach in my opinion.

I appreciate you bringing up not riding over your head…I believe a lot of high level racers race over their head to be competitive and it also makes sense why they throw themselves on the ground so often.
Trying to go too fast, was Hampshire... It's funny that you have to rewrite things several times to undo what speech to text chose to write by mistake... In the Denver race, Hampshire lost speed by spazzing out and riding over his head.. early in the race
One thing I’d consider as a crack is his ability to disconnect from riding over his head is personal dislike. I’ve seen multiple times where when it came to Herlings, he let his emotions take over and that didn’t end well for him.
Herling's form on the bike was never good, but still, he was fast. But when that KTM had a wheel slipp or a wobble he went ass over tits, and I believe that's a direct consequence of him having that bad form, no separation in the hips.

@@sdb92 We, Euros created the sport and made it what it is. Never forget that even the first SX ever held was won by a Euro (Karssmakers). We created motocross u created supercross but still we beat you to it, our pros travel to the US and beat your guys easily. Especially French

Unfortunately, our clueless AMA pussyfied our MX/SX series by shortening moto lengths, constantly grooming track, etc. Obviously, right now, Euros are beating us. But, things come and in a circle. Make no mistake. American will eventually dominate the sport again. 😉💪🏻🇺🇸

Because of europeans they modified the Trans AMA and made a real championship, u had your peaks indeed with AMAZING riders (80’s and early 00’s). But we still have the roughest tracks and conditions that make the best riders.
