First off, I must agree with you about Midnight Voyage. It's currently my favorite Nautica fragrance! As far as Oceans is concerned, I think I'll wait until they either add some alcohol to it, or until it's heavily discounted to consider a buy. The fact that it has weak projection and the possibility that the oils could damage my clothes is just a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the heads-up ma man!
I love the regular voyage, so I might give this a try. I never had a problems with projection with voyage. In fact, I easily get 12 plus hours with it.
When you posted the picture and said it was at Walgreens I went and got it. Had to go to three different stores and they only had one! I’ve been enjoying it because been warmer here in California.

I made a bottle of ISO-E super and a bottle of ambroxan. I sprayed this (Nautica Ocean) then a spray from my ambroxide & iso-e solutions and got stronger performance out of it. It projected tremendously 1000 times better. I hope this helps everyone with alcohol free fragrances. Peace ✌️

I'm still loving the original Voyage and get tons of compliments whenever I spritz it on to go to a grocery store or to run errands. I've had women follow me around Walmart trying to sniff me before lol. Nautica does put out some decent ones every now and then though 🤙

His son is now two and a half, and when I went over to babysit he came downstairs talkin bout, “smell me Uncle Chris!” And sticks his chest out... I bout fell out my chair laughing. He wants a spray like his Daddy in the mornings now!
There are other warmer weather fragrances I want before this one like Halloween Man Hero. I am definitely waiting for both to hit discounters. I may splurge the $40.00 for Halloween.
I wonder how this new one compares to the 2009 version. That was my favorite cologne ever. I am glad they brought this one back. But I am sure it is not exactly the same as the 2009 version.
@@StAnger561to770 I haven’t smelled the current version, unfortunately, but I’ve always loved the scent. I always thought for what it is, there’s a uniqueness there that separates it from the pack. I was really hoping that the re-release would be an alcohol version, but watching ur video told me everything I need to know. I’ll probably pick this back up as a re-release anyway, because it takes me back to younger days. I estimate my bottle is at least 14 years old now, with about 30% left. Good review. 👍
@@BAR-ct7ti well since I wrote my comment I found one of these online shopping websites that have this product although they were out of stock. One of the review comments under the product said it's not the same as the 2009 version but it still smells good. I think it's probably comparable since they're both water-based. Also I still have my original bottle and I think it's still works fine even if it's become a little cloudy. I did not make this video I just watched it. I would not complain about stuff like the box or the bottle or water-based ink. I actually think it's pretty cool that they use more ecological stuff in the product design as they did with the original 2009 version. I actually prefer the water based over the alcohol. From my experience the alcohol-based evaporates to quickly and it tends to stink. For example people use alcohol-based body spray products and I can smell them when they're walking by from a distance of almost 10 m and to me they reek like a skunk. I like the water base because it seems to last longer and I don't mind that it has a little bit of a sort of a watery texture to it I just don't spray it on my clothes but I have sprayed it on my clothes before and I never noticed any sort of stains after washing from this. Which I sort of remember the packaging from the original saying that it was safe to spray on clothes and skin because it was water-based and would wash out. Something with alcohol is more likely the damage clothes especially some sort of fine fiber like linen. Anyway I think it's a good decision to try out the new version, if you liked the old one I think you would probably like the new version.

My contrarian choice for best Nautica cologne is Blue Sail. Scent gets multiple compliments and smells uniquely great.

The projection is a little weak but has a nice fresh out of the shower scent that last for hours . One of my favorite nautica colognes

Azzaro Chrome Under The Pole is an alcohol free fragrance. If you've smelled that, how does the performance/sillage of Nautica Oceans compare?

The original clear bottles will turn cloudy after years of shelf life, but it will still smell good. I still use mine and it smells perfectly fine.
