Polo Green will always remind me of my dad. He got one bottle as a gift when he graduated from basic training in the early 90's and used it sparingly, all through my childhood. Happy scent memories!
I am 59 and still wearing Eros, Aventus, 1 Million Parfum, Ultra Make, Bleu de Channel Parfum, but back in the day (80's) it was Halston Z14, What is funny is that it cost more in the 80's than it does now, but it also smelled much better then.
Polo green in Fall/Winter/early spring. Then Spring/Summer/early Fall (depending on the temperature) Light Blue Og are my signature scents. 33 year Old Male
80s baby 90s kid here also. Hurts my soul to see Tommy and Nautica just pushed to the back of the shelves in rack stores. Grew up wearing that stuff. Love it!
Awesome video Ross! I was born in the mid 80s too and followed a similar cologne interest you have! It’s always been something I’ve enjoyed!! I love nostalgia of the 80s and 90s in every way! My favorite fragrance l when I was in high school that really made my love for fragrance was in the early 2000s was the original Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy For Him! I still have one of my original bottles that I will always keep in the collection and just hold on to it forever just because it represented a certain chapter of my life! I would for years get a bottle every year for Christmas! I wish they still made it!! Keep up the phenomenal content ! Ross! I have been following you for a year and live for your daily uploads! They add so much light to myself days! Keep up the phenomenal job Ross! God bless you good sir!
Great video. This one really spoke to me and my own fragrance journey. Mid 40’s so I had almost all of these growing up myself. I would also get a bottle for Christmas every year. Thank you for this bit of nostalgia.
Growing up RL Polo was my step dad's signature scent. It was the first scent I ever owned, and it was one of the first scents I purchased when I decided to get back into fragrances. It is my favorite scent of all time, and I have been waiting very impatiently for the weather to be cool enough to wear it.
Bro started off with Tommy and here I was thinking I was the only one, my man! Tommy and Gravity have been my Go-to's since High School. Bringing back the nostalgia in this video!
I am an old man in my late 40s, so fahrenheit, paco rabanne PH, kouros, le male, cool water, Balenciaga PH, eau sauvage parfum 2012, lapidus PH. Mostly nuclear bombs
One of my favorite videos of yours. I’m guessing we are about the same age, similar memories for me. I appreciated you sharing a little more insight in your life talking about your Dad. What an awesome memory and cool you can tie it in with your Dad. My scent like so many others that reminds me of my Dad is Polo Green. He wore it to death, awesome scent. I’ve been getting him to try others and it’s been fun helping him get into other perfumes. Did you ever wear Michael Jordan’s 23 cologne?
@@TLTGReviews oh no man I definitely got that so it’s no shade at all. This was speaking in general but I know you have plenty of guys that fail to read while getting their cheeks clapped so it’s all good. 🤣
6 for me me growing up was boss in motion / boss - bottled / Tommy by - Tommy Hilfiger / Dior - Farenheit / jpg - le male / YSL - Opium I forgot to add this one hence the edit
Thought provoking. A few for me in chronological order: Polo Safari Og Cool Water Armani Mania D&G The One Gentleman The Scent Private Accord Soleil D'Italie Reflection 45
I’ve had 8 of the 11. Glad you showed some love to Adidas Moves. Adidas and chrome were my signature scents around 2007/2008. Both were gifts that I didn’t expect much from. Funny how much I loved Adidas but was ashamed to say what I was wearing.
Man you got good taste! Have you ever had Kiton Men in your possession? This was for me my first pineapple accord scent back in the mid 90's way before Creed's Aventus but it sadly was discontinued. If you can get your hands on it and you have never tried, it's one for your impressive collection!
I still freaking love Tommy. I love the DNA and it’s nostalgic as hell. Still need to grab Montale Fougeres Marine soon too based on you stating it’s niche Tommy. My HS was a lot of Curve, ADG, Polo Sport & Blue.
Eroooooosssssssss is the most important frag to me, was the first fragrance I fell in love with even though I didn't find it until August of last year, all other fragrances got pushed to the side once I got it and that's when I knew how much I actually liked it
Man, this brought my 36 year old ass way back on this one. Love this video. My first cologne ever was a clone of Hugo from Hugo Boss called Nitro by Belcam. The original 1995 Hugo before they renamed it Hugo Man. Thanks for the time warp! 90s will always reign supreme for best decade for me.
I really enjoyed this video Ross! The first “nice” designer fragrance I remember getting was a Safari gift set from my then girlfriend for my 16th birthday back in 1995.
Rossman get your hands outta my collection 😅 You just named many of my first fragrances!! Great video you could do rounds 2 and 3 HOF legendary fragrances!!😊😊😊😊😊
Not as big a collection as you i used to buy but was not into scents like I am now. I got out of my f boy Axe stage and invested into a real cologne buying Usher but my mother in law got me my first scent i got hooked on cologne Burberry Brit

I still pull out my bottle of Drakkar Noir and spray some just to get a sniff. Really takes me back.
OMG, I haven't thought of Bugle Boy in decades LOL !!!
This was a dope video. Talk about a trip down memory lane... man, do I remember them school dances!! 🍻

Man this video takes me back. I remember my “Bod” spray kick.
Man that original Nautical Comp. With the rubber strap cap was my signature scent in middle school along with Tommy as well ahhh the good old days.

Funny you mentioned gift sets. That was my first Tommy. Small bottle, lotion, deodorant, and a little travel sprayer 🤣
Really enjoyed seeing a throwback vid. Brought me back too!
Savuage and Cool Water also come to mind when I think of ones that go down in history as some of the most important.
Gotta remember, this isn't of importance to anyone other than my own lifetime. Explained in the intro
@@TLTGReviews oh no man I definitely got that so it’s no shade at all. This was speaking in general but I know you have plenty of guys that fail to read while getting their cheeks clapped so it’s all good. 🤣

Wild. All except the aspen, either I’ve owned or borrowed a couple from my bro, Joe. Great taste and this definitely was a nostalgic watch.
