I'd totally go to an all B-sides show! No one does them better.

@oceanempire my sentiments exactly! Their b-side collection is stronger and more diverse than most bands' a-side catalogues.

So would I - B sides and other rare tracks. I remember seeing Pet Shop Boys at Teeside Uni - think it was 2002 - and they played Do Anything You Wanna Do which was originally by Eddie and the Hotrods. It was brilliant.

I love this new track, and marvel at how well Neil is still singing. Wonderful ballad.

Not bad for 38 amazing years in the business they truly are the masters, I love the way they've re invented themselves for so long no one does it better than Neil and Chris.
I must say Chris was very chatty and a B sides show would be very cool.

I have been a fan for years. I love a good dance track from them, but recent efforts have seemed like a mildly wearisome repetition of a once winning dance music formula. I guess a lot of their fans wanted more disco from them. I also have heard their tracks going for a more mainstream pop sound with guitars, etc. that seemed to start with the "Love Etc." album Nice try, but a sound well-mined by too many others. If going for mainstream then stick to the lovely, moody cocktail tunes like "Confidential" or "Vulnerable" And I've heard them going for camp humor of the self-deprecating brand and also trying to sound more contemporary by jacking up the Skrillex (is that the name? Skillet? Shrillex ? Schmillex??) effects with loony synth effects. "No..." Then a surprise and they come full circle and get back to what I really like: beautifully melancholic tracks like "King's Cross" , "Luna Park", "The Only One", and practically the entire "Behavior" album, and they reach my own hot spot as a listener. The strobe lights are cooling but the beat goes on in whatever dance clubs are left; the groove-steps and two step has become 12 steps for some of us who cut a rug to "It's a Sin" or "Always on My Mind", many of our fellow dancers and DJs , friends and lovers are gone but PSB are still here thank god! Chris could easily ditch the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland hats at any point now. And this beautiful gem is like a wistful little "Wuthering Heights". My heart responded to this one. Thank you PSB!

Chris' Tim Burton hats! LOL I agree 100% with the hats---I never cared for that huge top hat look. The Golden Age of clubbing, 12" mixes and so on is over. Artists like PSB, New Order and OMD are pretty much stuck to doing 'greatest hits' tours from here on out. I'm not a fan of older classic groups (and even Madonna) trying to be 'hip' and getting younger artists to perform with them---or worse yet, rap. It makes them look desperate. I'm hoping this is a proper PSB album and not a final one more 'lets be hip and current' kind of album.
